I'm really sorry. I thought long and hard about this but it has officially dawned on me to close the thread. The Valentine's game will be cancelled. I apologize to those who have put effort into entering the game. I will be giving away the gold I collected for the Valentine's game through raffles to random people on the pinglist.

It was fun, but I think there is some lost interest on both sides. People have stopped reading my rules and thanking me. All I asked was that rules were read and I thought it was common courtesy to thank people for their kind gestures. Questions are okay but when the questions are blatantly answered in the rules I find that extremely rude. I did this for fun but I feel used or unappreciated now.

I can't continue running the thread with the lack of following some simple rules (I try to make them as simple as possible) and with the lack of appreciation. I don't expect anything in return except for a thank you (which as I said, I thought was common courtesy). It wasn't just one person who has affected this decision. Please don't assume anything or be angry with me. I can't even begin to calculate how much gold was given away here, so if you feel angry then think about that.

I just can't care for this thread anymore with college and the situation I described above. Sorry if I sound rude or harsh, but how would you feel if people were constantly doing what I explained? Thank you to those who have read my rules and followed them.. and actually thanked me once and awhile.

I'm sorry that you feel unappreciated, Fox. You've done a wonderful job running so many fun games over the past few months, and I know I've really enjoyed the ones I participated in. So thank you, one last time, for all the hard work you put into running this thread. It really enriched the games forum while it lasted!

Good luck with college, and I hope this decision helps reduce your level of stress. I know how busy it can get studying.
