The mage said before going down the stairs to their left. The air suddenly got colder and damp. In the distance thy could hear bodies moving about. "Hold...what is that?"

The mage waved his free hand and a light blue shimmering shield covered them. "Move quietly." He warned as his hands glowed a firy red color. He cast a small fireball before tossing it into the room before them. The flickering light danced off the exoskeletons of the spiders as it rolled into the room. The beasts instantly turned to them hissing as they approached. "Well this isn't good." Dorian winced as he readied himself.

Newt swsithced into blades. "Stand back-I'm gonna use War." He pulled out a firery stone and slipped it into his front pocket. Newt suddenly glowed brightly.

Slowly, Azurian closed his eyes, falling asleep where he stood. He slid down the wall, coming to rest at a sitting position, with his wings wrapped around his shoulders. Gentle wisps of black energy came from his fingertips, where he had held his swords.

"Wait!" Dorian warned attempting to grab the boy though he missed as the spider lunged at them both. "You don't know if there are more traps!" He yelled past his struggle with the giant arachnid.
"I'm guessing you two are the little elves friends?" The grey asked looking past the spiders. "I'm sorry for the mess. Just give me a moment to draw them out....come on my pretties follow daddy!"
