When I try to give her Fae Dust with recessive Jingle Bell Collar, I get the message "Jingle Bell Collar is not Recessive to the selected Visible Trait." If I'm understanding correctly, I should be able to delete Fae Dust and make Jingle Bell Collar the Visible trait. But I don't see how to make it work.

The nullification 'trick' would be if you cared more about, say, Carried Jingle Bell Collar than the Visible Fae Dust. If the pet had Visible Fae Dust locked in, you would not be able to have the Carried Jingle Bell Collar. However, if you wanted the Jingle Bell Collar instead, you could nullify the Visible Fae Dust and then select Carried Jingle Bell Collar.

Using the Philter of Nullification won't give you extra new options to choose from relative to what existing prior. It just gives you the option to select a dominant Carried Trait over the auto-locked Visible Trait.

Unfortunately, Fae Dust seemed to have caused a lot of issues since it moved so far down the genotype alphabet list. That is definitely something I will keep an eye on for the Bulbori and any other revamps down the road. I will try and provide better options to players if a situation like that happens again (or just try to avoid that situation altogether).

Tried yeeting the Fae Dust. It no work.


Also in our previous attempt at it, when you manually removed it from one of my pets, it STILL forced me to choose "Fae Dust" as the only visible option. It wasn't "locked" anymore, but it was the only not-greyed-out option on the list.

So unless something changed there as well, I'm not sure if this will work? Wanted to test it but got the error code ^^;


Edit: I was going to check and see if it lets me choose something else as visible M2, because trying to avoid a visible M2 and just take a carried trait does not work either. Says I allocated too many carries.

Sorry if im late to the show and missed the information im about to ask about, but does anyone know how the split up traits work for re-gens?

Such as this pet im looking at now:
I was hoping that since he had Glowing Fungus as a visible trait that i would be able to select the other mushroom traits that match this one.


I can't figure it out, but this other pet i have (which im very happy with) had Jingle Bell Harness and now is able to select all of the matching jingle bell traits along with it.


So are some split up trait sets available on purpose while others remain unavailable? And if so, which ones should i expect to have access to if my pet originally had the trait in its visible trait set?
Any help is appreciated : )

I noticed that the default Images for my Faelora that I regenerated Today is still showing on their Lineage pages. Hitting F5 for a hard refresh does not fix the issue. However, the other Faelora that I regenerated on the Revamp Release Date seem to have their Images on their Lineage Page updated and showing just fine.

Your issue is like the vast majority of mine. The forced "Fae Dust" visible is blocking the other options.

Krin's last statement on the matter was:

So I'd recommend going to PM and seeing if he'll do manual override to get your traits back! Might take some time.
