Thanks for the heads up, Loli. :) Hope to see you back after!
Don't worry about it, Sno. I haven't replied to this as well. Very busy. Thank goodness it's now Saturday. :)
Piper - Desi - Demetry - Bmr - Cafeteria
Piper watched as her friend walked over with a saucer and two cups. She began to get worried once she dropped the saucer, and quickly running over to the table. She almost saw the pain in him.
"Are you okay?" she asked, almost too loudly. "What was that back there?" Piper didn't want him to feel too pressured if it was a touchy subject. She hoped it wasn't, because she want to know if he was okay.
Myst smiled at her friend. "I'm quite excited actually." she said. "Meeting the new students will be very nice."
Myst started drinking her coffee, tasting the fresh hazelnut. She waited for her friends to respond to Evangeline.

Demetry - Bmr - Piper - Desi - Cafeteria
Demetry pet his little friend. "Thanks Tee." He whispered to her. He looked back up at Piper, wincing as he moved his neck. "I'm fine." He smiled a little weakly to her. "This actually happened a lot at home, it's really nothing." He said thinking she might drop it, he really didn't want to tell his sob-story to anyone today. Piper was nice though and it she asked again he might just tell her. "It's kind of a secret." He added just in case. Ray had finished up the milk and ran over to the girl and tried jumping up onto her lap but fell back on the ground.
Harmony - Bmr - Myst - Desi - Evangeline - Soltra - Nathan - Yin - Julian - Lotus - Cafeteria
Harmony almost didn't hear Evangeline's question. She looked up at the other teacher. "I am excited as well. It will be great to get to know so many of the students!" She said in agreement with Myst.

OOC {{Sorry if I miss something, and for holding things up. The holidays, festival and work have been getting the better of me lately :(. You will be missed Sno :(. I hope you are able to come back soon ^^. Grrr! Stupid computer shut down and I lost my post so I had to rewrite it from scratch :(.}}
Aidrien
"We arrived yesterday, at which point I spent a fair amount of time ensuring the stable was adequate and knowledgeable to the care of Sleipnir. The lodgings are a fair size, the staff experienced, the stables, grounds and livestock are well cared for. The rest remains to be seen," the young prince shrugged.
Aidrien was never good at talking to people, h... Wait, What the devil is that boy giving food to his hair for? Aidrien thought to himself. He did not have to wonder for long as a tiny pixie dragon poked it's head out for a brief second before it disappeared back into it's caretaker's messy blond hair.
He was about to comment on Pyry's nervousness when the Head Mistress stood and made her announcement. Yes, what a smashing idea to throw a party when we should all be focused on our school work, Aidrien thought to himself. Though it was voluntary, Aidrien knew he would have to attend for appearances sake alone. Though he was not one who normally ate breakfast, the silver haired prince stood with the other students, and said to Pyry, "So what do you think of this Gala idea? Any thoughts who you might ask to accompany you?"
"Pleasure ta meet ya," Rei continued and took a seat across from the brunette, "So what do ya think of this place so far? It's so vast, I can see meself gettin' lost here a lot. It's much bigger than my patron's house, and so grand! I felt a bit like a princess sleepin' in them big beds, not havin' ta share it with me sisters. Sorry, My Lady wants me to speak like the smart lady she says I am, but when I get nervous or excited I kind of forget that."
When the Head Mistress stood, Rei listened excitedly. "I always wondered what it would be like ta go ta a Gala as a guest and not the entertainment. I'm part of the Music club, so I'm sure they'll want us to be in charge of the music. But at least I will be able to dance here too. My patron had me take dance lessons; it will be a fresh change ta get ta use what I've learned. Oh listen ta me talkin' yer ear off I bet. What do ya say we get some food in us? Are ya in any clubs?"
With a quick nod of greetings to his fellow teachers, Julian replied, "I have a general outline thought up, but I'd like to take the first couple of days to learn what they are interested in first. I want to see how familiar they are with history specifically. What they know just how much they think they know about what happened. Not just in their country, but in the others as well. Maybe even give each of them a role to play and reenact the events."
Julian listened while the rest of the teachers spoke, and listened to Mysts' announcement of the Gala. Some of the students looked excited by the idea; others... Less so.Ah well, Julian thought to himself. Different strokes for different folks. Julian was rather curious to see how the students would react to each other in that setting. It was not that long ago that their kingdoms had been at war with one another after all. There were many things that could make this Gala into a huge success, or an utter failure. That was entirely up to the students and whether or not they could look beyond the past to see the future. Something easier said than done at times.
When Myst was done with her speech, Julian let the others go ahead of him before he went to grab some food for himself and Lita; who had hopped onto his shoulder. After he'd returned to his seat, Julian resumed discreetly watching the students. Observing their behavior, and manners to see what he could glean from it; though he still made sure to let the other teachers know he was listening to them as well. It was something Julian learned he could do at a very young age; it was also something he'd learned would serve him very well through out his life.
Irving and Arthur spent their time talking while they waited for breakfast to be announced. "Finally!" Irving exclaimed, "I'm starving!"
"Already? The four heaping plates of food I saw you and Pyra mowing down at the inn not enough for you I take it?" Arthur teased.
"Gracious no it wasn't," Irving replied completely serious. "I'm always hungry. Mother says I have a very high metabolism because I never gain weight."
"If that's the case, I feel sorry for your competitors should you ever join an eating contest. So you going to go to the Gala?" Arthur asked as they walked.
Irving shrugged, "I don't know yet. Not really sure I'd fit in like the royal types would. If they wanted me to help cook, that would be one thing, but I've got no clue what to do in one of those things. You?"
"Yeah I'm going! It should be fun," Arthur smiled.

Piper - Desi - Demetry - Bmr - Cafeteria
Piper looked at her friend worriedly. Was he really okay? Did something happen on his way here? He had been acting a little strange this morning. A little awkward, some winces in pain... She wondered if she should ask of what happened before he came here, but she didn't know if he would be comfortable with that or not. And she wasn't the type of person to be snooping in people's history. If she didn't want her past to be found out, she wouldn't find out anyone's past in the time being.
"It's kind of a secret."
His voice rang in her head. It was a secret. He didn't want to tell her, did he? Well indeed, people do need their personal privacy, and so did she. And she wasn't planning on telling Demetry her past... Or was she? Did she want to tell him? I mean, she would break out in tears maybe, but still. She heard that people need to vent out their problems to others so that the problem could be fixed. Should she...?
She shook her head and snapped out of her thoughts when she saw little Ray try to jump onto her lap. She smiled to the little tiger awkwardly, still trying to forget the thoughts. Maybe Demetry said it was a secret so she could forget what had happened and leave him be.
Piper scooped the little cub up with her hands. He was soft and cuddly, and not to mention cute. She petted him with her average sized hands, stroking his white and black fur.
"Sorry, little guy." she said, laughing a little.
She placed Ray onto her lap and patted him on the head. She then reached her hand over to her own food. The buttery smell of the buttered toast in front of her smelled delightful. She took a piece of bread with her right hand, and bit the buttery goodness. She sighed and licked the butter off her lips.
"Mmm." she said. "They made this really good."
She looked over at her friend, almost confused why he didn't want any food and only some coffee. Piper pushed the glass plate with the other half of the large buttered toast over to Demetry.
"Have some." Piper said, smiling. "It's good. Have it with your coffee. Can't have an empty stomach." she said again, trying to urge him.
She hoped he'd take it. Especially because he acted so weird and all in pain. He needed something to eat. She knew he was at least a little hungry, right?
Piper waited for him to respond, mostly responding by taking her offered food. She took an apple from the small bowl she had with her left hand, and stuffed the small piece into her mouth.
A loud chirp came from her shoulder. She looked over, clearly annoyed. She saw Sunny hop down from her shoulder and onto her tray, her feet attached to the rim of the bowl of seeds. Piper watched as her bird gulped down the seeds one by one. She looked as hungry as can be.
Piper hoped Demetry would act the same as Sunny.
Emmeline - Desi - Rei - Lotus - Cafeteria
Emmeline looked up at the fair skinned and red-haired girl as she sat down. Her eyes were rose red, and they shimmered in the light of the big school.
She smiled at the talking girl, seeing that she was so excited. Rei seemed like she was excited for school to start.
"A pleasure to meet you as well." Emmie said, speaking in her normally strong British accent.
"I think it is wonderful here. It's almost like the Dayanda castle. I'm going to guess it's like that because the Headmistress is from Dayanda as well. I've seen her around the castle." she said again, clasping her hands together like a lady.
"It doesn't look so bad. I've been to bigger castles.
"Oh my, yes. The beds are actually a little bigger than the ones back in Dayanda, and much softer.
"Oh no, it's quite alright. I get jittery when I'm nervous. It's normal for a lot of people." Emmie said.
She tucked a strand of her creamy brown hair behind her ear, away from her matching coloured eyes.
After she listened to the headmistress, she turned back to Rei. She was speaking. Emmie smiled, placing her books into her bag.
"Ah, interesting. I've never met a musician. Yes, I'm sure of that too. Maybe later or tomorrow in the clubs they'll arrange something.
"Dancing has never been my thing. I'm usually caught sitting down, reading a book or something, but never dancing. I have tried dancing with my friend at the orphanage of fun, but it ended up with me stepping on his toes." Emmie said with a giggle, remembering the boy. She placed her pale hand onto her pink lips. She had said too much, didn't she? She hadn't meant to blurt out her past of being in the orphanage. Well, she'd be fine if Rei asked her about it, it wasn't a big deal.
She continued, hoping Rei wouldn't notice. "I'm in the Books and Writing Club, Animating Club, and the Day Club. I love reading and writing - well, you can probably tell already." she laughed, gesturing to her book bag. "But I've never written any music before though... Is it fun?" she asked.
Emmeline picked up her bag and put it around her shoulder. She smiled again beamingly at Rei. "It's quite alright. My ears don't fall off that easily." she giggled.
"Yeah, I'm a little hungry myself. I'm craving an omelette and a smoothie right now."
Emmeline stood up, waiting for her, well, acquaintance to do the same. She couldn't really all her a friend right now, since they just met.
She was glad she met someone though. Rei was nice and bubbly and cheerful. She had made her goal.
Will add other characters in later.

Demetry - Bmr - Piper - Desi - Cafeteria
Demetry smiled at Piper and Ray. "No thanks. I'm really not hungry." He wasn't being totally honest. He was used to not having breakfast and the thought of eating made him feel a little queazy. He smiled again as Ray purred. "He likes you. I couldn't even make him purr like that." He looked down at him hands and realized some areas were pretty rough from when his uncle made him do the work. He almost wanted to tell her but didn't at the same time. He thought of something. "Do you want to play a kind of game?" He asked taking a gulp of coffee. "We take turns asking yes, no or sort of questions. I know you didn't want to talk about your past but this should be a little fun. We both have to answer the question either one pick. Sound good?" He asked taking another sip of coffee. He hadn't realized how thirsty he was.

Shade-Stables
Stroking Fubuki's snout, Shade yawned. Fubuki spread his wings, flapping cold air at Shade to wake her up. "I'm up, I up!" Shade yelped, her skin freezing from the rude alarm. "That's not nice." Shade complained, secretly marveling her dragons light and dark wings. Shade diden't have a good sleep, too worried, and in an unfamiliar place, it always took Shade a couple days to get used to the new environment. Fubuki softly growled, Snapping Shade out of her daydream. Fubuki created a shadow image of a hamburger and looked at Shade with puppy eyes. "Okay okay." Shade laughed. "I'll get you something to eat. Won't be a cheeseburger though. I think the kitchen staff might get suspicious." Fubuki lowered his head, sadness evident is his eyes. "Oh don't worry." Shade chided. "I'll get you a burger. It's the least I can do." With Fubuki drooling like a dog, She walked out of the stables and headed towards the Cafeteria.

What the heck, so many pings. x~x
I am so sorry for not replying, everyone! I was so busy I totally forgot about Sylestia. Sorry for going without notice, Desi.
And here are my very, very late replies.
Nick & Jay - Yin - Anima & Karayan - Loli - Cafeteria
Jay looked at Anima with his best charming smile he could do. "Mmhm." he said. "I would say I am lucky. The beaches back at home are awesome! Surfing and wakeboarding are the two more popular sports there!" he exclaimed. Jay was always a fan a many sports, which was the reason why he decided to join the sports club. And surfing and wakeboarding were his favorites also.
He took a short glance at his brother, who wasn't having as much fun. Jay had the urge to frown, but he looked back at Anima, who was talking excitedly. In the corner of his eye, he saw Nick frown at him. Nick did have a knack at reading his mind. They were twins after all. "Ah, yes. I've heard of the firefly thing going on in Nightlandia. I hear it's awesome!" he said flashing a grin. "Living there would sound fun! Sometimes Liquia is just a little boring."
Jay listened to the headmistress speak, and was delighted by the thought of food. He looked at Nick, who wasn't seeming to be listening. Then he glanced at Karyan, who was watching others rather suspiciously. After the headmistress spoke, Jay listened on to Anima. He nodded. "Why yes. Galas were a big thing back home." he said, starting to get up to get some food. He motioned his arms. "C'mon, I'm starved." he sighed, relaxed. He stretched out his arms and yawned. "I'm up for some food. Now let's go before the line gets too long."
Nathan - Yin - Myst - Desi - Harmony - Bmr - Evangeline - Soltra - Julian - Lotus - Cafeteria
Nathan looked up at the forest haired teacher. He smiled. "I'm quite excited as well." he said. Though Nathan wasn't good at waking up early, he was still looking forward to a good start to a new day.
"This year we have many new students. This will surely be fun." he grinned as he saw the students easily talking to each other. "They all seem very comfortable with one another. I'm glad everyone is making friends."
In the past years of his teaching, Nathan had a few struggled with some students who just caused trouble. He was glad everyone could be friends this year.
He shuffled in his chair as he looked at the blonde teacher. "So Julian, I suppose you will be handling the music for this years 'welcome back' gala?" he asked. "I'm curious; will it all be classic and slow music, or will there be some DJs this year?"
Arctic & Locket - Cafeteria
Arctic smiled as her half sister spoke. She wasn't all that bad. "You are correct. Being a guard is great."
Arctic laughed as the small clock-like dragon landed on Locket's finger. He made weird ticking noises and squawked at Arctic. She smiled. "Wow, he looks so cool." she said, pushing her hair behind her ear. "Did you make him? I mean, since he's steampunk." she asked.
Locket petted her dragon as she looked at Arctic. "It sure sounds like it. What made you become a guard? I'm just wondering." she asked. She didn't know many people who would become guards, especially any girls.
She laughed. "I wish I did." she said. "If I did, Watcher wouldn't be so hot-headed. A pet shop keeper gifted him to me." she said, hearing the dragon-like sounds coming from Watcher, trying to annoy her.
Andrei, Deeji & Riordan - Cafeteria
Riordan looked up to see two figures standing in front of him. One was a girl, who had long white hair which was tied into a high ponytail and had lime green eyes, and a boy, who had blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a matching hoodie.
Riordan forced a shy smile. "Uh... Hi." he said. He didn't notice he had sounded so nervous. Meeting new people wasn't his thing.
The green-eyed girl smiled at him cheerfully. "Hi!" she exclaimed. "We came by to give you some company." she said.
Riordan was glad they had. He was pretty nervous of having to try to make friends on his own, because that would just be awkward.
"I'm Deeji." she continued. She gestured at the blonde boy. "This is Andrei."
"Hello. I'm Riordan." he said, letting a little cough escape his mouth. "From Musiqua."
Deeji beamed. "Musiqua? Wow, I should pay a visit sometime. My mother told me I have a few relatives there." she said. She took a seat beside Riordan.
The boy - Andrei, did the same, but on the other side of him. "Hey there." he said with a wave.
Riordan was about to speak to them, but the headmistress had started speaking, and Riordan did not dare of interrupt her.
After she spoke, Andrei got up and said, "Let's get a bite to eat." he said. "I don't know about you two, but I am famished."
"Lol, I bet you're not 'famished'"
"Yes I am." he said to Deeji.
When Riordan stood up to follow them, Deeji leaned in and whispered to him. "Don't be embarrassed if Andrei does something embarrassing." she spoke quietly. "He is such a dork."
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
Riordan couldn't help but laugh at them. "Let's just go and eat breakfast. Like Andrei, I'm famished."

Hey guys I am back (well I got back a while ago, I just forgot *sheepish face*
@Lotus (and Sno is she has the time :) )
Pyry felt his heart drop at the mention of a ball. He felt himself begin to overthink things already. How was he going to get there, would he be able to fit in his studies if he went, did he even want to go at all? His panic heightened even more upon hearing Aidrien's question. "Wh-who I might ask?" he stuttered, straring at his companion. He would have to ask someone? "No..." he said, keeping the inner turmoil out of his voice. "I...uh, I don't know anyone here really. So no." He stopped abruptly and stared down at his hands feeling shy. He remembered that he probably should show some courtesy back. "How about you?" he asked Aidrien, scratching his head.
@Yin
Anima bounced out of her seat grinning, as Karayan dully followed behind, Sahara tightening her grip on his shoulder. He turned to Nick, knowing that he may have been stepping out of line by talking to a royal but figuring he needed to take risks. "How about you? Looking forward to the gala?" he asked. Karayan figured that whilst Anima was running her mouth with the Liquia boy, he should try and make a link the Flamoriona as well. After all, they were here to gain more power, and winning over the future heirs was a sure fire way to do so.
Anima followed Jay cheerily, already eyeing the vast array of fruit ahead of her. "Ohhh, blood orange," she said under her breath, only ever hearing about the fruit before. She glanced around, noticing that Karayan was with Nick. She smiled, knowing he was probably failing miserably at being social. "So are you looking forward to classes?" Anima asked, keeping up her upbeat attempts at conversation. (i'm tired sorry for the bad attempts at conversation xD)

Shade-hallways-to dorms and cafeteria
Shade paused for a moment then mounted the stairs to the dormitories. Unlocking her dorm, Shade took out some bandages from her medical kit and wound them around her injured eye. Flipping the hood up, Shade examined herself in the mirror, satisfied that only a bit of the bandage was peeking out form under her hood. Locking the door behind her, Shade rushed down the steps and speed walked towards the cafeteria to get something to eat.
Entering the Cafeteria, Shade glanced around, confused as to where to go. "I am totally lost." Shade muttered under her breath and walked aimlessly around, hoping to find something that might help her.
