"Spider" gene.
It's based on male/juvenile black widow markings (and for the sake of not creeping people out unnecessarily, I'm not posting a reference. lol. If you're curious, just look up "male black widow" on google).
I realized half-way through that it has some elements similar to other existing Nixi markings so I tried to change it up a little with the leg stripes and ear markings (the spider I was using had leg stripes anyways. lol). The brown would theoretically be the gene color, and the red would be Color 3. |

Marbled Bengal Griffi
The patterning itself would be Gene Colour 1, the darker brown on the back would be colour 3 (like in Quagga and Tiger). On the neck is Colour 1, the paws Colour 2 to make it match better.
Another version without the Colour 1 on the neck and colour 2 on the paws:

This is my tribute to a design my friend came up with. Mardi Gras is our favorite time of year. ;3
I know its kind of all over the place, but anything can be taken away and/or added to it of course. I used a Zolnixi because I love them so, but any pet can enjoy some Mardi Gras. ^w^
The streamers at the ears are actually supposed to be the really fluffy feathers you can find on most Mardi Gras masks, but I got lazy at the end. >.o
My inspiration was the jesters outfit, because who doesn't love a good laugh? x3
The swirly yellow lines can be taken out or have tiny beads in their place, which was my original intention, but I wanted to post this before time ran out. Hope yall like. =] |

I would say yes, but imagine it like the Fire Mane on Qitari, they would either have to do it on all the mutated wings, or just have it for the regular. |

I think the Zolnixi needs a few more "simple markings", but I wanted to keep in with the shaman/spiritual theme so.. Here.. Ying Yang... I think it would play nicely with a lot of the other markings and also give people the "eye spot" and "socks" for trying to get it to look like a family pet.
Checkered or Red Sided Garter Snake
Again a dual purpose marking that could play into a chess/checkers themed pet as well as a more natural snake pattern.

Cracked earth gene, gene slot 3.
Think dry high clay content soil cracking in the heat, and turn the cracks into a pattern.
I can also see cracked earth coming in a pre-colored rainbow variation called stained glass. |
