NO YOURE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM ME *hops on her back*

I paid 100, 000 for a Zolnixi a few days ago, it had 3 genes and 3 mutations and now has none! I had another 2 i loved, too, and it now they also have no genes or mutes. The new Zolnixi are pretty, but the update has taken away some of my favourite sylesties.

If you go on the pet's page, you'll see a "Re-generate" button underneath the pet. Click on it, and you can reassign the points as you like. In other words, you can now make all your nixis as you *really* like, provided it's within the points allocation. :)

Just noticed that the pearl armor comes out funny on the female's tail, like it's not fully around the tail. Is it on purpose?

Well, I adore the new art and am excited to regen a bunch of my pets! This was a MUCH bigger set of changes than I expected, though. With the moving of all those traits and the change in colour positions, many of the older themes don't look quite as good. However, I am not quite as heartbroken as I expected to be.... the new versions of traits I selected for my 6 vis Whispering Shadow Zolnixi project all look good, but I have no idea what to do regarding the loss of the pearl armor+ball mask combo. I don't want tri-tails. I've never liked tri-tails much and I don't like the redraw of them all shoved down around the legs. With only one trait available for the M1 slot for all old nixis, it doesn't allow for any choice.

My biggest question: Out of curiosity, why was the decision made to only allow M1 traits from when the pet was generated/caught (a.k.a. only tri-tails)? I realise that past precedent was to only allow regen traits from the time the pet was originally created, but with only one option in the reorganized M1 slot, I don't see why that was kept to. It leaves no choice for anyone who had a 6 vis project ongoing -- only tri-tails is available to them now.

In my mind it would have made more sense to put either tail+body mutations in one slot together, or tail+head mutations (like ball mask), rather than crush all the body+head mutations into one slot and leave the tail slot practically empty. I realize that more tail mutations will be coming out in future, but it leaves zero choice for all the old pets :(

Whoa, and the chestplate looks all screwy, too! The thickness of the different segments is weird, and the perspective looks off compared to the old version...

I have to agree with ColonelHazard in regards to M1...One of the biggest things that is disappointing me right now is that I spent months and rl money on a nixi project that had ball mask adn shaman feathers...now, i can only have one of those, and I'm now stuck with trittails if i want to continue having a 6v project. which, I didn't want tritails on them. I never did, and I definitely do not want them now that I'm over halfway done with the entire project.

Not only that, babies for the same project are all messed up. some are regeneratable, others are not. I was contemplating switching some traits around, to better fit with the new designs of some of the genes, but I cant do that now because some of the hgiher trait babies can't be regenerated...so I'm stuck with those traits. And I'm stuck with ball mask as well, as all of those non-regenable ones have it already...which is extremely, extremely depressing...so now i'ms tuck with a project i spent months of my time and effort on, using mystical essences I bought w/ rl money...and I dont even like them...


Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the new artwork. Its absolutely gorgeous (although tritails and pearl armor are both a bit iffy with me, i liked them better on the old style) I'm just...upset that I don't really have a choice in the makeup of my project pets...it just feels like that entire project was a waste of my time, because now i dont even want to look at it, let alone regen the 80% of the offspring that need regening...


I feel liek that sounded mean and i am sorry if it did i didnt mean for it to be mean...
