I choose a ladybug to be my model because, in the springtime where I am ladybugs like to hang out everywhere and while walking to school some days, you can see little ladybugs flying to their leaves. It was also inspired by the song about the ladybug flying to her house because the tree was burning.

My Inspiration: Spring Meadows
Wild and Free, My Story

G2: (CC) Nebula, G3: (JJ) Glitter Dust, M2: (CC) Leaf Wings

I was inspired by spring, colors, life, and joy. When I was a child, I would wonder the woods until I found a magical "oasis" hidden in the middle of the woods. A beautiful meadow surrounded by trees, hidden from the outside world. An escape from reality, into a world of fantasy. High grass and wild animals can be seen roaming free and without a care in the world. Nature grows natural and wild here. A Place where nothing has limitations and the imagination can run wild.

My favorite place to be in the world, is a Hidden, Secluded, meadow. A Place where no stress or pain can reach you. Kind of reminiscent of the 1993 movie "The Secret Garden" based off of a great novel.

When I was young, I was a bit different from the norm. I preferred nature to people, Books to tv, and computer/console games to sports. I was a weird kid who thought differently, outside the box, if you will. And I loved it. The world was my fantasy, my imaginations, my realm within my mind. I was happy, innocent, and carefree. We would make up characters, worlds, scenes, among other things. We practiced Wicca in the moonlight and spent time during the day laying in the grass or splashing through small creeks.

I love that meadow and the fantasy realms I created in my mind. Later, some might call it "LARPing" but purely in the sense of the creative mind. I got to share this experience with friends and we loved our little haven.

Here, nothing could reach us, but our minds.

This is my story, my inspiration, and my dream Aeridini.

I hope you all enjoy,

I was inspired by some of the spring sunsets I've seen in various places. I found that some of the colors from coastal areas blended nicely with colors in desert areas.

Wondrous Hibiscus Aeridini

I saw my hibiscus was blooming, so I though, why not make it look like that? And I think it turned out beautiful.

Umm...How do you put in a reference picture if it's a file on your computer?

Spring is the season that brings cloud-free sunny skies and beautiful flowers. I based my Aeri off of the late-spring sky.

Not the best but...

Helleborus niger Aeridini

My aeri was based on these flowers, they do bloom in spring, and I think they are very pretty. Also they are something no one has done yet.

Inspired by beautiful, clear, purple-tinted night skies, the Blue Wonder Toad Lily that's planted in Spring, and the Black Barlow Columbine which is planted and blooms during Spring!
Beautiful flowers, beautiful nights, beautiful Aerdini! :D
