This is definitely something that we carefully considered when implementing this feature. Ultimately, we decided that since prizes are spread over 63 different Themed Pets, that each individual Themed shouldn't be too affected by new pets added to the pool.

And, yes, as stated, we felt that adding new traits into the trait mix for most of these Themed Pets would outweigh (or at least offset) the consequence of there being more of them.

Also, keep in mind that these tickets cost 500 Diamonds, a lot more than any previous Wheel Ticket.

IE a harpy tail bundle..or.. a ministral lute bundle? This is a personal thing and you can totally pretend i never asked.. what are the chances of a valkrie owl set?

Monthly Avatar Items from 2013 are no longer available. Only 2014 and 2015 items are available.

Also, we had to go with the complete sets where available because otherwise there would just be way too many items in the Shop. It's the main reason we started relying on the usage of complete sets beginning with this year.

I am really enjoying the Wheel right now. I think this was an awesome idea. A lot of new genes and mutations will hopefully end up in the mix. And since Sylestia's user base has at least tripled since last year(when the Wheel was discontinued), it does give newer users a chance to get a Wheel Pet. Ultimately, there will be a higher influx of Wheel Pets to users right now, but if Sylestia continues to grow as it is, those numbers may even out again.

Out of curiosity are other avatar item sets going to be added? I've noticed that the autumn brownie set, the ninetales sets, and whichever set includes the runic aura wing item are all missing from this years sale when they were in last years. Is that intentional, or just an oversight? I was particularly interested in getting some of those items this black friday.

I believe all of those are from 2013. We made the decision to discontinue the 2013 items in order to solidify their legacy.

newbie question - can identical themed pets breed with one another and breed true?

I don't mind the sets in general, but it would have been nice to have at least bundles of one colour available - as it is, nothing I wanted is really affordable for me, which is worse than last year :(

Yes, they'll have the same color scheme as their parents, but they will not be tagged like their parents were.
