Well yeah I know,I think that's what it was based off of.I just think that now the re draw version just looks like a vorpa and a qit had a baby,an elegant baby. But with vorpas already having different types as fins as mutations and qits being very nice looking horses[that you could probably put a fish tail on] I just don't see why you want to make it look...;I just think making them look like that just takes away the uniqueness it did have.

Edit[Randomness]:Looking back, how are we going to see there genes?I mean there wings are covering a portion of the middle of their bodies. That's a big pet peeve of mine.

Unique wings is a good idea, but from something native to freshwater, like duckweed, which are small, floating plants found in slow running streams, ponds and laked with super small leaves and tiny white flowers. We have a saltwater species with a tail instead of hind feet already so this one should be freshwater.

Since many people have and enjoy highly colorful fish in aquariums, perhaps some of the features of the upgrade could reflect some of the most popular freshwater aquarium fish, particularly the live bearers.

For images of the plant I mean, go here:

As for the tails, I agree that fish tails, if you're careful about which species you use as models, could be interesting. For freshwater, there are:

Fancy Guppy

Crabs

There are many, many ideas that can be used but I sorta like the idea of having crab claws as one of the new mutations.

Oh, the revamps are gorgeous! I've always loved the base idea for the Kelps but was kind of unhappy with the execution. These new versions are amazing though. My compliments to the artists. :)
