Groaning I looked around me, shaking my head slightly. As usual in places with lots of people talking around or to me, I was having a head ache. It wasn't the people, it was never the people. At least not by themselves. But it seemed that wherever the living went spirits followed. Along with being able to see them, if there was a lot of them trying to get my attention at once, things sometimes got a little out of hand. If there wasn't a lot of them talking to me at once, I was fine. But that, was not the case here. And since I knew I wouldn't be able to eat much more right now. Sighing I packed up my lunch and went outside. Looking around cautiously to make sure nobody was watching I shifted into my dragon form. Spreading out my wings I leapt into the air and flew up so high that if anyone looked up they would probably miss me. I knew that in a few minutes I would need to get to my next class, but for now I needed to think. Looking back on my life I remembered the times when I had been in normal human school and my mother used her powers to make my dragon features temporarily invisible. Someone had told the rest of the school I could see spirits, and I was officially branded a freak. I wondered if anyone here knew about that.
