Galaxy, The Forlorn Doll

Once an ordinary porcelian Ryori doll, or at least it would appear that Galaxy was nothing more than a normal doll. She was given to a little girl for her birthday October 31st, Halloween buy her loving parents. The little girl LOVED Galaxy very very much, and tended to take Galaxy with her everywhere. However this sadly for the girl was the last happy thing that she was to have. Tragedy struck, and before anyone knew what was really happened the little girl and her Galaxy where alone in the world. Galaxy loved her girl, and thus revealed to her that she was no ordinary doll but was the physical form of a kind spirit that would sacrifice all for the little girl's happiness.

The little girl was shocked to find out and for a brief time was rather scared. The little girl asked that Galaxy prove what she says is true by obtaining a safe place for them after the loss of the family. Galaxy did as she was asked by her girl, as she loved her girl and wanted to give her what ever she desired. Things started out nicely, Galaxy found them a nice and loving home and things slowly returned to being normal...but as time went by Galaxy saw a change in her girl. This change brought worry to Galaxy, however she remained hopeful that this was just a phase. Years have now gone by and the little girl now isn't quite so little anymore, but Galaxy still loves her and grants her wishes because she loves her girl. Till one day when Galaxy's girl comes home mean, and saying many harmful words.

"What is wrong my Girl? Please tell Galaxy what is wrong, I want to make it all go away. I want to make you happy"

"Shut up you stupid doll, I didn't ask you for what you wanted to do. I TELL you what to do when I want you to do something!" the girl shouts at Galaxy

'Oh my, what have I done to warrant being yelled at by my girl?' Galaxy wonders to herself

"If that's how you wish it my Girl, I'll remain quiet till you have a request" Galaxy replies.

"Good, I need to figure out what I'm going to do about all this...." Says the girl.

Galaxy sits on the shelf and wonders if she'll ever learn what the problem is...she soon does. As she watches her girl sneak out unable to do anything the police brake down the door and she hears her girl's adopted parents crying inconsolably. The police are searching the room for evidence of a crime...they didn't say what kind...but by now Galaxy was convinced that she was the only one that could do anything to help her girl. Galaxy chose to make the ultimate sacrifice, to insure that her girl would be happy and that all would go right in her life...Galaxy gave up all of her being, the magic of her soul to turn back the clock, and save the girls family so that her future might be as bright as the Autumn's full moon. After this Galaxy became a normal porcelain doll, but she left her girl one message.


"I love you my Girl, I gave myself for your ultimate happiness. I saw the path you where taking, and I, my soul couldn't take it...I couldn't stand to see you so sad and so very lost. I promised you that night that I'd make everything better my girl...and so I have. I'm gone now, just a doll remains but please remember that I love you so very much. You love and happiness is all that ever mattered to me. Galaxy"

The girl now on her new path in life with no memory of what the deleted future had been, stumbles upon Galaxy and the message left to her from a distant time, and she weeps.

"Galaxy, come back!" She pleas, but the doll remains silent "Come back! I still need you!" the girl wails...

Still the doll remains silent as a single tear roles from it's eye, for Galaxy the Forlorn Doll can never again awaken for the soul that once resided there was gone...returned to the fade never to return.



Sorry for the long post but I felt that Galaxy needed a story to explain that she's a doll possessed by a good spirit who's only wish was to love her girl and make her happy. Also yes I just came up with that short story all on my own, I'm pretty happy with it.

Oh Ryori are so complicated! Em.... I think this will do!

Halloween has always been my favorite Holiday. With it also celebrated in my favorite season!
So something creepy with a touch of fall is just perfect!

Based on Day of the Dead Skulls

Inspired by the beautiful fall leaves and atmosphere.

Um... well mine is inspired by the creepy aspects of halloween which would terrify us out of our wits on an ordinary basis, but on halloween we mask our fear of by laughing about with friends and/or family.

This design is meant to symbolize corruption, for the darkness of it represents impurity or filth as one falls prey to misdirection, and smoke is the contagion that malevolence is: a natural condition suppressed until temptation causes it to surface. To breathe in such evil is to become it yourself.

Inspired by the harvest moon.

This is based on all Halloween stuff such as Orange for the pumpkins, Black for the night sky and Bones to add an eerie look.

Based on the first frosts that cover the forest floors, and cling to the branches of the evergreens.

Based off the fall leaves.
And the hUGE MESS THEY MAKE.
