I do like the idea of the curled hatchling stage. I agree about them being too anthro, I do like the fuzzy antenna looking more feathery and in motion. I dont like the hands, I would prefer those being sharper points rather then rounded fingers.

The new antennae style is really refreshing and they sit rather nicely on their heads. This updated style reminds me more and more of Lunar Moths (my personal favorite species of moth). The curl of the nose gives a great deal of personality to them along with their new face shapes and after picturing in my head what they would look like if the curls were facing downward, I think that the artist made the right choice curling them upwards. They look more like versatile insects now rather than having more of a hornet face with a moth body, if that makes sense. The wings, face, arms, waist on both male and female encourage me to think even more about their versatility. The updated end point on the bottom of them looks really refreshing to me and adds even more to that thought. It would be really cool if, in the future, a stinger was added into a mutation slot so that the creation options are not endless but not limited to just a moth/butterfly build. I do encourage your artist (or yourself) to consider all insects as far as genes and mutations go to keep up with this theme of being more versatile (and now I hear Samuel L Jackson screaming at me "Say versatile again! I dare you, I double dare you!"). It would be really cool to see less of the typical genes and see more of the insect-like genes for these guys upon their revamp.
Excellent job!

Personally I love how they are, that they look more like real animals. Sorry, but I really dislike the new art of them.

I love the new update! I don't mind them being Anthro, that's what makes them unique

I've never been a huge fan of Lunes, but I'm willing to give them a chance.
Both
- Remove nose
- Remove fingers
Male:
- Add a little more fluff around back of neck
- Needs a slightly shorter lower torso
Female
- Waist needs adjusted
The babies are pretty cute.

So. I am going to completely reiterate what others have said, because if you guys were like "If we get one more post about how they don't like it, well change it." and I didn't post.. and it didn't change.. It'd be all my fault.
I'll start with a compliment sandwich. Where I say something I like about it, then something that needs improvement, and end with something I like.
Like: I like the antennae.
Needs Improvement: Everything else.
Like: I like how the male hatchling still is in his adorable pose. Male Lunemara hatchling is my favorite hatchling across all, tied with male griffi hatchling.
I am in the same groups as several others. The "If they're going to look like this, please don't change them" group, the "Ack, too human!" group, the "Ack, too Suess-esque!" group
In their current form, I am really against them. But I believe there is still hope. I'll post a compilation of the pictures other users have done that I believe best sums up what I, and obviously others, had hoped for this revamp.
(SpaceElf1)
(Runa)
I like these fingers better, because they look insectoid. And I could see the fluff on the forearm working.
(Blazekitten)
1) Wings: I would love to see the wings without the bumps, and layered correctly: upper part behind, lower part in front.
2) Faces: Eyes bigger, curl noses gone, hair swoosh on female is just too human female-y.
3) Arms: Need to be more spread out, and I would love them to be less Arm-y.
4) Bodies: Need fluff and fat. Please feed them some sandwiches.
I'm also in the "If they turn out like this, I wont keep my lunes" group :( Which makes me sad because I love moths and my lunes.
Edit: I wanted to say that I do appreciate all the hard work that went into creating these. I may not feel that the style is in keeping with Sylestia's style, but that does not mean the work is lacking. If I had drawn these, and heard the enormous amount of feedback, I'd be crying. So please understand that it's not the artwork themselves I dislike, I just do not care for them for this site. I appreciate all the work everyone does on this site.

They look great, but i like the way they are now. They look cute and shy- which is enough emotion for me. I don't wanna see smiling mouths on Lunemaras. :T I also believe the noses should be removed (along with the mouths) and i don't want to have the hair tuft on the female's forehead. Basically, stay closer to the original than this. Loving the babies, but the adults just have to be fixed, because right now they're one of my favorite species, but that could very soon change.
I will say i LOVE the suggestion two posts above me, so if you could stick to something like that, that'd be great. Hyped for the revamp- just hope they don't turn out like millennial moths. :/

I disagree moths do have mouths, they are just small and they have very long curled tongues that stick out.
