Hibiscus curled up, yawning as she hid her scroll and charcoal under the leaves, falling asleep.

In the night, the room became cold to the point of shivering unless under a blanket or two.

I wake up in my pool nearly trapped because of ice sheeting over the top. I shiver and start banging on the ice to try to break it.

Her thick scales kept her warm. Along with a blanket over her.

Carmine

The Skywing hybrid watched as everyone fell asleep. She was actually quite tired herself, so she curled up into a tight ball, her wings over her head. "Good night, everyone." She peeked out from under her wings at the sleeping forms of Subzero and Dragonfruit.

She unraveled from her curled up form and after second thought, blew a short plume of fire over their heads, melting some of the ice and warming the two up a bit.

Subzero:

Subzero, who had been sleeping restlessly, sighed and relaxed, a small smile on his snout at the warmth.

Also stirred in her sleep, Cometchaser mumbled, "I ship Carmine and Subzero" from under her piles of furs. Nobody heard.

Hibiscus shivered. Being a Rainwing, she was especially susceptible to the cold. Looking around, from what she knew, Sandwings were especially warm, and the heat radiated from their bodies. She crept over to Scorpion, shaking him slightly. "Hey, Scorpion, it's really cold, can I sleep here with you?" She asked in a hushed tone, trying to keep any of her scales from turning pink.

Carmine

The next morning, Carmine woke up under the sunlight, stretching her wings and letting out a yawn. She jumped down from her ledge, looking around to see if anyone else was awake. Her scales turned gold with excitement.

"Good morning!"

Scorpion

Scorpion heard Carmine's cheerful voice and forced himself awake. How is she such a morning person? He rolled his eyes, rubbing them. "Good morning, Car."

Subzero sighed, shaking off the tiredness. He stroked Dragonfruit a little and handed the sloth to Carmine. "Morning."
