Thoughts on releasing: They deserved better than overcrowded stables constantly unconscious during an entire summer due to lack of care, as well as the sense that they wish for freedom.
Amount of pets released: 87 (and counting, most of which I released myself)
Amount of pets owned: 138 (and counting/shrinking :/)

Pet I regretably accidentally released:

Accepted, but I hope you realize that you won't be on our little faux 'leaderboard' due to released pet cap being lower than 100.

Thoughts on releasing: It's necessary, especially when you're doing projects and don't have a lot of stables/tabs to store it. :)
Amount of pets released: 106 (for now)

Some released beauties/interesting finds I released tonight.
This kelp is pretty nice. I was kind of tempted to keep her.
No traits but really nice colours.
A 1c PB offspring. I personally would've just released him if I bred him, but to each their own.
She's not to everyone's taste but I liked her palette.

Here is the beautiful mudskipper kelp, and a little story about it.
The Mudskipper Kelp
Once upon a time, there was a kelp. This was at the time that kelps had fin-hands, not wings. They were quite content with their lives, swimming in the water and basking in the sun.
Until one day..... Krin, decided that kelps would have wings. So it happened. The revamp (dun dun dun).
Now, a revamp isn't a small thing in the wilderness of Sylestia. Sylestis are minding their own business, eating and sleeping or whatever, but then pop! suddenly, kelps had wings, and no back legs (and for some reason, a lot of
Every kelp that had been standing toppled over making various interesting horse noises, while those in water did not comprehend how to swim.
This particular kelp though, had been sitting on a rock, and was quite confused about how exactly she was supposed to move her legs......
It was not good.
The glorious battle cries of 'NEEEEEEEE' echoed throughout all the land as each kelp courageously soared through the sky and into the water, thinking they could fly.
Our mudkelp was regenned with Splash Wings, so it was even more unable to fly, each attempt at flapping its wings causing a mist of water to soak everything near it.
This may have been why nobody caught it.
One kelp was on land, and suddenly realized that he lacked legs.
His movement towards the warmth of the water could have been likened to a magikarp using 'Splash' (but on land) or a mudskipper's normal movement.
It's been a year. Kelps haven't learned a thing, so now when you look at your kelps, or those that are in the wild.... well, it'll be hard to think of them as graceful beings of serenity again.
(Possibly will be continued with the 'Helium Balloon Kelp' theory.)
