It's okay to have those feelings, but do try to avoid acting out on them. It can be difficult at times

I know too well the anger you are speaking about. I would not describe it like the feeling of a cornered animal though, but more as the accumulation of angst and anger that we hide and keep inside to try to fit in, until it becomes overwhelming and we explode. Like when we put too much water in a balloon for a water fight.
Glitterthesylveon, even if I'm not personally concerned like you as I don't have family living in any places affected by the recent hurricanes, I also find what you describe revolting. Yes, one bottle of water, that helps...
My country also has territories which have been destroyed. The trajectories of the hurricanes were predicted almost one week before by the meteorologists, so authorities had enough time to evacuate these territories, but they didn't. Nope. They waited until the LAST moment to try to help. Only to say something like "The wind is too strong now, there is no way we can approach the Islands". They knew what was going to happen. They COULD have evacuated the places BEFORE the wind was too strong!
Europe, America, and the way they help other countries and even their own territories when they are in need... *sight*

Yah I know its gotten to the point where I get physically sick with anxiety. He likes to get me in the corner of the bus and then sit next too me so that i'm trapped and yAH stuff happens that I don't want
