"Hmm. Well, I haven't been in the forest yet, but I was thinking it'd be more fruits and stuff." Aris scratched at her ear as she pondered about the island. "I'm not sure if I'm good at fishing or even being a farmhand," she laughed. Aris had her doubts about how feasible it was for her to catch fish or creating a makeshift farm on the top of the plateau, though she had to give credit to Atropos for trying to make a sustainable home base.
"But...those are all pretty good ideas. I'm down to help you with them if they work out." Her ears twitched when she was asked the second question. "Cold? Mm, not yet. I just wanna get cozy." She sighed dreamily. "Would be nice if we could use some tree leaves as blankets. And piles of leaves as cushions instead of sleeping on the hard rock floor."

"Ah, my apologies. We can always try to fish or farm, couldn't we? We never know until we try..." Atropos gazed out at the night sky where the sun was long gone below the horizon line. "Mhhmmm..." She closed her eyes. "We should get leaves for the ground. I have no opinion on sleeping on rocks, but anything that'll make things better, we can do that. I saw a few lone trees on the plateau on the way here. There is one tree on top of the small plateau we're currently staying in." Her orbs now moved with a slower, more sluggish movement. "Well, good night." Atropos yawned and curled up, grabbing an orb and hugging it before nodding off.

"Yeah, you're right. If it fails, we can always figure out something else." Aris yawned, ears flickering. "It's a plan then -- we'll go scavenge for stuff together tomorrow, pick up whatever useful stuff we can get, make notes of whatever we see for a second trip, and stuff like that." She took one last look at the night sky outside before closing her eyes. "G'night, seeya tomorrow."

(Ok then, cuz I think Kate will be on tomorrow or in 8-10 hours or something. Imma just go with the time skip)
It was a normal morning where donuts rained from the sky and the sun was green and was zooming around, looping in the sky. XDD (Ahem. Back to business.) Atropos blinked open dreary eyes and yawned. The plateau was in shadow, but she could see the sky was turning orange with the light of the morning sun. "Huh. This plateau is on the southeast side of the island." She said to nobody in particular. She let go of the orb she'd been hugging for the night and it zipped up and joined it's brethren in orbiting her neck once again. Atropos looked back at Aris and wondered if she was awake.

((LOL))
Aris breathed softly in her sleep, but her ears twitched at Atropos's monologue. "Mmh..." she mumbled, slowly blinking her eyes awake. "Ugh...what time is it..." The first thing she saw was the oranges and purples of the sunrise, then recollected that she was sleeping in a crack in the wall with another Sylesti. She turned her head to see Atropos awake before her. "Oh...mornin'. Sorry, not much of a morning person."

"Good morning" Atropos smiled. "Feeling good? I'll be outside." She slipped out the crack again and breathed in the fresh, if not a bit cold morning air. "Ahh... When was the last time I felt this good? Let's start today with the collecting, shall we?" She looked back at the inlet that contained the puff.

"Mmm..." Aris took her time getting up, stretching her paws and hind legs slowly, and preening her fur, instincts of a domestic puffadore. Once she shook off her sleepiness, she joined Atropos outside. The cool morning and gentle ocean breeze blowing over the plateau felt good against her fur. She looked over the edge of the plateau towards the thick forest canopy. "Ready when you are."

Atropos padded down to the edge of the plateau and looked down. "So, we climb down again?"
