This is based on a bright duck that is seen mostly in Autumn here ^.^
This is based on the robin red breast we have here that comes out in Autumn and spring!

How about a turkey based gene for aurleons? It's not very original, but since there seems to be a lack of Thanksgiving genes I figured I'd use it as my theme. Here are some pictures of actual turkeys to get a better idea of what the markings would look like...

I'm too lazy to actually draw today, so, I give you a text and picture idea!
Basically, it'd be for Zolnixi. It would probably have to be a faded stripe down the back, with dark rings around the eyes, and and dark ear tips. I have no idea what to name it, so, yeah.

Some orangey glowy markings on the back, fading with red and yellow. Sorta like this. For zolnixis.
You need to draw, linking images/ typing them out isn't counted

I thought I'd try a pattern based on a real moth species, the fluffy and fabulous Rosy Maple Moth! I was intending this gene to be easily layerable with others if it was implemented.

I'm not particularly sure if everything has to be Fall-themed, but here are some of my submissions.
I was surprised that we were getting all these sea-like creatures and I didn't see any bioluminescence!
I suppose the glowing spots on the fins are optional or can be spaced a bit differently. I could have been more intricate I suppose but it's pattern is based off of the luminescence of a sea slug I saw. I can't see it well from here but the spikes are luminescent as well.
(Ignore the blue sphere up top, that was just to save my colour)
On to the next thing! I thought this next thing was going to be a mutation but figured that it would be better as a gene.
I'm afraid I may have made too many 'veins' or made them too long but there ya go. It's based off of the 'glowing sea'.
I honestly don't know. Please let me know if I should post the nephini under the mutation category instead!
Here's a Kelpari based off of the seahorse below it.
