I wasn't so sure about them when they were sketches, but they turned out amazing! Unfortunately, my only Lupora didn't fare well in this update. With Maned Wolf moved to G1 but not the color, she's left without the part that brought her together the most. Hopefully the themed/purebred update fixes the problem. I don't want to regenerate her until I know what I'll get, but tossing her into the generator came out with less than desirable results. :(
The feathered wings are absolutely amazing, though! Splendid job there. Frosted Glass went from being one of my least favorite Lupora to something I'll probably use. Luporas in general are way better now.

I used to dislike the Ethereal Wings traits but the new design is really beautiful.

... i dont know if i like it. the new body shape is nice. dont like having to regen one of my lupes because kitsune was removed from g2. guess ill be settling for kitsune in g3 if i want him to still look vaguely the same.
Is there any chance that you can show on the regen page the pet colors as well even if they are locked and unable to be changed? It makes my regen process easier
The reason the colors don't show up is because the scripts and everything to adjust them is still loading. I just simply block the information itself from loading so that effectively disables them.
If I were to undo that, then you'd also be able to adjust the colors and whatnot. So in order to fix that, I'd then have to tinker with the script file or write more code logic to prevent that.
Sadly, the Re-Generator is just the Generator with some crappy modifications to it lol. If it were something built from scratch, it most definitely would be a lot more user friendly.
Will you ever implement a way for pets to maintain their hidden traits? (It kinda kills their value when they louse that genetic potental in current revamps)
That is something that is extremely difficult to pull off. It's complicated enough swapping traits around (assuming a species has its traits shuffled some), and most of the time it just ends up in those traits just being wiped and then allowing the pet to be Re-Gen'd. So also trying to be extra careful of carried traits would confound this even further.
And then on top of that, there is zero Generator infrastructure for applying Hidden Carries. All of that would have to be created from scratch. The current interface has no room for it, so I'd also have to rebuild the interface on top of the code and scripting itself. It'd be a huge project just for something seemingly so simple.
That's unfortunately why it's not something currently available. Whether or not that becomes a thing in the near future, I can't say. I most definitely will keep it in mind for down the road when features like the Generator are eventually rebuilt.
Krin, I wish we could change the traits of our pets. Like before, we can set their traits and colors again after the revamp. Coz the look and the locations of the traits weren't like that when we set them, hence we could have used different traits and colors that would have look pretty on it.
In the updated original post, there's a section on what triggered Re-Generations and some reasoning behind why or why not.
It just depended on the situation of a pet. If the pet was something created with like an Essence, or Trait Disruptor, or Mutated in some way - then it got a full wipe. However, if it was something that was randomly generated by the Site to some degree, only things that were affected were wiped and the rest were left.
Basically, there's a spectrum. Far left would be nothing at all is Re-Gen'able. Far right would be every pet is fully Re-Gen'able. We settled somewhere in the middle.

@Scathreoite,
Prior to the revamp, we went through and picked out the Lupora we liked most. This will give us a sense of what the player was going for with their submission.
And then we'll work with it in the Generator and update it for the changes and go from there.
The thread is still unlocked, so you're also welcomed to edit your designs for the changes. It's very possible we will make a last minute pass and look for those as well.
Another question, why cant i use philters while waiting to regen a lupora?
Such as a nullification philter xD
The way the Re-Generation process works for Traits, it wouldn't be able to accommodate changes to the Trait Points. And then obviously, the use of something like a Nullification Philter would allow you to just fully Re-Gen any and all pets for the same reasons. That's not how the process is intended to work. =P
