As you take the paper down from the board, you register a blur of blue out of the corner of your eye and a rubber ball bonks you on the head. A 7 year old child runs toward it and you, apologizing profusely. "I'm so sorry, Miss!" he pants.

The librarian gives you a look like Good riddance as you leave. You walk straight into something again.
