Lanternlight Ferrikki

Inspired by an odd dream I had where I was being followed by a tiger/panther thing in the middle of the night, it was really freaky (at least in the dream) so I thought I could try to capture that idea.

Guiding Light Zolnixi

There's always something in spooky movies and stories that tries to guide the protagonist, to death or to living... This is one said creature. With their glowing flames, these Zolnixi guide friend and foe alike through the darkest of nights. Also inspired by lanterns, flashlights, will-o-wisps, and anything that might guide you through the dark with a light... Beware ;3

Heya folks,

I'm a mythology buff, so this is both fun and tricky for me because there's so much inspiration to be found in mythology. In the end, I decided on designing the Kishi.

The Kishi is part of Angolian folklore, he is said to be a malicious two-face creature. It has a handsome human face that it uses to seduce female prey into returning to their lairs. Its second face is hidden by its long hair, the second face is that of a hyena and it uses its hyena face to devour its prey. The following design is based on the Kishi's hyena face.

Cheers, folks!

Blood Hunter Nytekrie
-

The Blood Hunter Nytekrie is inspired by The Hunter from Bloodborne. In shades of brown and dipped in red, covered in bone, the Blood Hunter Nytekrie hunts at the dusk and the early hours of the dawn before disappearing for the day.

(If chosen, I'd like a female please.)

Werewolf Lupora

The inspiration for this piece is that of the mythos associated and or surrounding the wolf. Many stories throughout time have evolved this natural born predator to one of legend. Such legend/myth is that of the werewolf. To explain better, this legend/myth is in which man was believed to be possessed, cursed, and or demonized to be that of this creature. Such occurrences usually are a result of dark black magic, and or being bitten by an infected individual. When one was bitten and or created to be such a manner, it more often then not revolved around that of the full moon. During such time, they supposedly would sprout fur and run on all fours howling at the moon while feasting upon the flesh of their fellow man. Unfortunately such creatures do not exist...Or do they?!....There actually is a recorded mental illness associated to this myth/legend. It is a rare mental disorder called "Clinical Lycanthropy". Those affected and or afflicted with "Clinical Lycanthropy" is a disorder where those afflicted believe they truly can turn into a werewolf. They even display and or exhibit wolf like tendencies and or behaviors. No wonder why we have these horrifying stories and misconceptions of these fantastic beasts of nature. It is all due to mental illness and the twisted morbidity of story tellers throughout time.
