That line refers to Argos and Theo. if the dragon dies, the rider either gets another one's dragon from the dragons of dead riders, or they are a Dragonless rider. Or they can retire? No boy love. That's just weird
I still think they should be half elves that live in Du Weldenvarden.........

Aww.... And I was gonna make Theo and Argos.. >< I'll do that another time. You wouldn't find it weird if anime was something you liked a lot :D But alright, I'll keep it to best of friends. I'm thinking that the dragon rider should find another dragon that likes it, or become riderless, since it's stated that the dragon who lose a rider end up killing themselves through their rage... And overworking themselves to find their rider's killer. Thus, unless one of the riderless dragons is calm enough, it won't accept a new rider.
Hm... But then all my chars would either be from the elf town or from Varden ((as of now)) and then I'd have more elves... is it alright I keep the two boys in Surda? I was thinking of the sea when I was coming up with their chars >< That's why I thought of sea dragons for them. Besides, an equal no. of half-elves living as elves and humans~

Define more elvish. Like looks more like elves, act more like them or their elf abilities more prominent?

Sure. Just remember with your characters, they can't have been riders for more than 3 years........
