Se'ranna was already in the meeting room, seated on the floor and entirely naked besides a loincloth. Everything else was covered with fur.
Even seated, she was five feet tall.
And an oddly sweet, though subdued, scent wafted from her.

When he enter the meeting room, the insect-looking alien was surprise to be one of the first arrived. While he was expecting her sister to be causing trouble somwhere else he though that the others would have joints by now. He politely nod at Se'rana to greet her and sat down in one of the avalables seats.

(this isn't dead i promise, just slow to wake it back up because I've been writeblocked hard lately)
Zell Aviro
Zell had lead the way into the briefing room. He had caught sight of Se'ranna ignoring the seats entirely and reluctantly took a seat far from her on the other side of the room to avoid a confrontation with her. Like it or not, this was the crew so far he was stuck with.. and.. man.. was it a trainwreck waiting to happen. Everyone seemed so wound up for one reason or another. When he caught sight of the captain entering the room, he knew it wasn't probably going to end anytime soon either.
Rulzek Rivox
Rivox was visibly tired and his antennae twitched here and there with signs of poorly contained stress. He looked somewhat aggravated, but held his composure enough not to show more than a slight scowl as he made his way to the front of the room.
"I see we are all.. mostly in attendance? Lieutenant, where is the rest of the crew?" He focused his glare in Zell's direction, making him shift uncomfortably in his seat.
"On their way, sir." The Daarizi answered somewhat hushed, managing to soften Rivox's glare momentarily as he gave him a nod and turned back to the crew present.
"I see. I'll have word passed over the ship's intercom then." Rivox said sternly as he took a seat next to a shipboard monitor, pulling up a holographic screen in front of himself.
His voice echoed through the ship radio communications through it, allowing him to be heard by all, currently present or otherwise.
"Presently, there has been a bit of change of plans. While I originally had planned for the ship to depart in the next few days to give everyone a chance to get acquainted, it seems that things have grown a bit more urgent for this command regarding any investigations or explorations of the Zeta-7 system. One of our intelligence contacts, a miss Kali T'Kroma has gone missing. While she is a Bespan native to a colony in the cluster, we have evidence to believe there was foul play involved in her disappearance. Coupled with the disappearance of other Stellaris vessels just outside the area, we do not believe this was just an isolated incident.
At any rate, it is vital for all of us to find this Kali, both for native guidance in our own surface explorations, as well as maintaining a means to locate our lost agents.
We will be departing this evening. Whatever ends you may need for our departure, I highly suggest you prepare to grab them now as we will not be returning to station for quite some time. Is there any questions?"

Syveis
When entering behind Zell, the hyper girl seemed to calm slightly when her gaze meet the six glowing eyes of her brother only bearly, it was space time after all somthing both sibling were looking forward to since the first spoke. At the confirmation that they were leaving today she had to stop herself from jump on the nearest chair, mainly because she then notice how stressed her capitain was being and the last thing she wanted was to get yelled at. Sure she was woried for the missing Bespan but right now she was mostly happy they woudn't have to wait around anymore.
Oper
One glance over his older sister was enough to see what was going on in her head, not like it would be too easy for someone who dosn't know her but to him it coudn't be any clearer even if she would have said it out loud. Standing up he offer a polite nod and a ligt bow when Rulzek enter the room to make his anouncement. At the moment he had no real question, his only consern was to help locate the lost agent and to potentialy keep Siv out of any serious troubles.

(going to reboot this at a later time just because my physical health right now is really killing me as far as writing my own plots up.
Still have one thought out, but the time I want to think things over would probably kill this anyways.
You guys want to be pinged when I eventually get the new thread up? May be in a month or so, not sure.
I have other ideas for rps I want to play with first. We'd probably also pick up where we left off.
Was also considering the possiblity of rerunning this as hybrid RP-RPG game like I do with my Discord. It would use a single D20 for RNG with combat elements and you'd be able to pick up equipment and stuff I'd throw your way, but largely you'd still have freedom to do what you want with your character. Any thoughts?)

Alright, sweet.
I'll keep it on the backburner and drop you guys a ping once I get something figured out.
I need to take a hard break from writing sci-fi for a bit, honestly.
