After the revamp is fully in game, yes. Old images can display new traits since the letters get reassigned.

So you will not be able to choose new traits for the regen eligible pets? Dangit, I was hoping to get some new traits on my nytes without spending a ton of gold on disrupters and mutators. But now I have more drive to gain gold.

Yes and no. If you have certain traits in certain slots, you will be able to do that. For others, you wont. The full list that shows all that is on the first page of the thread.

As other people have already said, having no option to have icicle wings on regenned 6v nytes could be an issue. Many people wanted icicle wings specifically for the wing portion, and being unable to get that back just because you decided to breed for 6v would sting.

I think it would work better if you could choose one trait out of the ones you previously had for a slot, kind of like how you could choose any of the 3 traits in example regen 3. Unaffected slots, however, would remain locked to the same traits available before.

As an example, if a nyte had the following traits:
G1 - Mystic Feathers
G2 - Shimmer Tips
G3 - Moon Runes
M1 - Moon Armor
M2 - Icicle Feathers
M3 - Flower Petals

It would be nice if traits could be regenerated as such:
G1 - Locked
G2 - Locked
G3 - Locked
M1 - Choice between Icicle Armor and Moon Armor
M2 - Choice between Icicle Wings and Flower Petals
M3 - Choice between Icicle Crown and Moon Tiara

^ that please, and inclusion of the pet's recessive traits as options for regen since often in breeding, it's the recessive traits a breeder is striving to get as visible but RNG reduces their chances. (IE, if I want visible C and breed an AC with an AC, I have a 75% chance of visible A and only a 25% chance of visible C. Don't punish us further and make this even harder by removing the recessive traits altogether pls. That's just cruel. I understand if they can't have both and can only regen one, but defaulting to A and removing C is the opposite of the intended project goal. Choice of A OR C is fair.)

Please: what Cat and Xav have said. If regens are going to be more restricted this time around, at least having the option of *all* of the traits the pet originally had would be fair. (By that I mean the idea of not losing out on the option of traits like Icicle Wings just because the pet also had Flower Petals; and having the option of regenning either the original visible or original hidden as the new trait if that slot becomes available for regen.)

With how drastically a lot of traits have been changed, nevermind changes in how colour slots affect the pets and those traits, I'm already afraid of how many projects (in process and completed) will be tossed because the previous vision isn't recreate-able now. At least having the option of regenning *any* of the traits the pet previously had might mitigate that a little.

There will be a Diamond Sale. I am unsure at this time for how long it will last. It will also be overlapping w/ the Week of Love.

There's nothing specific that will be happening w/ the Fairy Traits - they will be treated the same logic depending on which Traits each pet has, etc.
