"i'm bored" i groan "who wants to go wander around with me? i want to find things!" i ask, glancing around the table. "it'll be fun, i promise"

I finish my steak and lick my lips "I want to learn how to hone my fire and change back into my human form" I say "I also want to see who else is here and what their power is, I wonder who else has fire powers, can two people have the same power?"

"no two people can have the same power, but maybe someone will have a similar power" i suggest. i glance around, looking for somewhere interesting to look around. spotting a large hallway branching off the room and into another room i can't see i point it out "lets go check that out" i say, setting my plate on the small indent on the front of the table.

i stack her plate on top of it, and someone comes to whisk it away while we head towards the hall way. it's large, with multiple comfy white chairs lining the wall opposite the outward facing wall, which is composed entirely of windows that show a big courtyard outside. the hallway leads to a massive room filled with stores, sort of like a mall. except all the clothes are one solid color, unless they have the companies logo on them. the stores also sell things like pillows, decorative pillow cases and all sorts of baubles.

i step into the first store, one filled with clothing and things to decorate your room with. i end up selecting black croptop and leggings and a black choker, bringing them up to the register. the woman behind the register smiles, grabbing the items and scanning them. she hands them back to me, and i try to give her my debit card, but she declines. "oh, anything you get from on site is free, we just scan them to keep track of inventory" she tells me. "uh, oh. ok." i shrug. how can they afford that?

I grab a fur mat for my bed and a necklace of onyx jewels that I arranged on my head like the Indian jewel crown things. I then grab some fire red metal braclets that I clipped around my legs just above my paws. I spot some red lights and a fluffy red bed sheet which I got as well.

Maple finished her food she wanted to explore to so she said a soft me and went to the clothes store with her she bought a pair of pajamas and an outfit before going to the room decorations getting some blue lights and a blue fluffy carpet and blue bed fluffy sheets and blankets with a blue head band to match her unique hairstyles, she was excited she was gonna buy everything blue!! She made sure she got an blue ipod with blue headphones

excited at the prospect of being able to have so many things, i grab a blue comforter for me bed, to replace the thin sheets i used as blankets before, as well as some plant pots for my desk, because i love plants.

"we should probably take these back to our room" i suggest, glancing at all the things we're carrying "we can change into clean clothes, too" i add. clean clothes is probably a good idea.

Maple nodded and followed her holding everything in her arms melting into the blankets "I can't wait! Hopefully my lights don't mess with anyone!" She said smiling

when we get to our room, we get to work setting our stuff up. i set my planter on my nightstand, and my clothes next to it for until i change. i lift up the mattress to put the bottom sheet on, surprised to see a slit cut into the bottom. something is sticking out of it, and i grab it, pulling it out. it's an envelope, unsealed. inside is a picture of a slender girl with a hard face and limbs that are a little too thin. her hair is red and waist length, and her eyes are red too. in this picture, she's wearing a white shirt with the companies logo on it, smiling and holding up an awkward peace sign.

i flip the picture over, and see a few little hearts drawn on in black sharpie, along with a small note that reads "love you, cupcake - XOXO ruby".

I set up the bedding and set the soft carpet on the floor next to my bed and my dresser before hanging up the lights from the ceiling in like a curtain way nearly falling but catching myself, I fold up the blue and white and black outfits I got and put them in the dresser and fall on my fluffy bed in relief

"check this out" i say, holding up the picture and envelope. "i found it in a slit on the underside of my mattress" i inform them, "i think it belonged to the last person who used this bed"
