Lol hi
I'm in a weird tired sad mood rn and inclined to ramble
Oh by the way Science Bowl regionals were on Saturday (Chinese New Year and also one of our teammates' birthday, happy CNY whoever celebrates, all the money went to my college fund yay) if anyone cares
We made it to elimination round, were losing 20 something to 60 something in the first half to some private school and barely managed to beat them 104-100 in the second half, we literally pulled ahead in the very last question so yay
Then I stared down their physics major until he gave me a handshake
Then we got our butts kicked by a team who hasn't lost regionals in twenty something years
So that was fun
Then they announced it at school on Monday and butchered everyone's last names and we were all embarrassed
Also we got t-shirts with Baby Yoda and the words "May the mass times acceleration be with you" on them
I called my friend a Nokia
It was such amazing weather, we ran 2 1/2 miles
So yee
I'm aight
Wbu

I have some stuff happening...

The birdfeeders are lively. Yellow-rumped warblers started passing through today. Still waiting on the yellow-bellied sapsucker, though. He's later this year than usual.

Estevan, my christmas catus, started blooming last week.

My history teacher was talking about the how the Chinese used to make ink so that it wouldn't run. She also joked that if the ink did run, it would "make the word 'house' look liks you were calling your mother a bad name". The guy next to me was dying of laughter upon hearing this. She got me laughing too after saying that the Chinese symbol for 'discord ' was two woman under the same roof.

Speaking of, that same guy is trying to get me to watch Dragon Ball Z. He's been at this for at least three years now.

He also wants to start an animation YouTube channel with me even though I've never tried animating. I said yeah because I didn't think he was serious. Appearently he was and even made a bet with his uncle reguarding it so now I need him to get the audio so I can start 'animating'. Turns out I cant draw a decent curve on a computer to save my life.

Job at the aquarium is going swimmingly, (puns). There's a new crow in the aviary there called Russel, and she's a delight! She talks and tries to land on the trainers' heads. Unfortunately, one of the horseshoe crabs has jst passed away. May he rest in peace.

I had to crochet something for a scouting patch. The leader provided me with some blue yarn so I listened to Electrostatic while I crocheted. I want to keep going but I ran out of yarn.

I stayed up till 10 helping my sister's friend repair her class project. Her brother had destroyed it while I was visiting so we redid the entire thing.

My sister has two budgies, Lou (Boy) and Stoik (Girl) They have moments where they go berserk running and lying all around their cage and squawking like there is no tomorrow. Most of the time they are cute and cuddle next to each other.

Like, I don't know what it's like raising a cockatiel compared to a mini mac but I assume it'd be much easier 'cause they're smaller and probably don't destroy everything if you let them wander around for a bit. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Oh really?

Well let me ask you something.

are you scared that your miny mac might bite/destroy your hand if you put it too close?

Does you mini mac POOP everywhere, especially where it's not meant to?

Does it sit there, look happy, but when you go over to it, it bites the hell out of your arm?

Sometimes, he has a rather strong bill, being a down-sized macaw.

Not often, because I thought to potty train him while he was younger.

And sometimes, only he usually goes for either the neck or the toes. He's drawn blood a couple times.
