Well, I mean, you could always be 5 foot flat and eternally too short to reach the snack cabinet without climbing on the counter and doing risky things (xD) with long dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and tan-ish skin, being totally Chinese but looking mixed, with a Malay accent when I get back from Malaysia lah...

I know. I try talk to people enthusiastically (even though I'm generally pessimistic and sad-sounding even when I don't try lol) but it always seems like there's someone else far more interesting than me. Like, I go up to them and say hi, then I just... Seem to fade away into a piece of furniture or something. Am I really that boring? Or do I have invisibility powers I don't know about, that only certain people can see through? I feel like when I start talking, people instantly look for something other than me. The only way I make friends is, well, I don't really make friends. I mean, I have a ton of acquaintances from my feeble attempts to make conversation, but not like, friends you hang out with at lunch, go places with, etc. A friend group is the word I'm looking for. Is it just me or does everyone seem to have a friend group of people they hang out with regularly? Or am I being crazy and everyone just hangs out with different people every day? Whatever. Anyways, yea, I used to have three or four close friends in middle school, but when we went to high school it became just one other person I'm very close to, because the others were in different classes and didn't take orchestra. I mean, I'd rather have that one amazing person who I stick with all the time, than a bunch of people I don't know as well, right?
Yea, I have problems with making friends. But hey, invisibility would be cool if everyone didn't always act like I'm nonexistent.

I almost feel you exactly....except for the short thing. In my case its mostly the fact that I'm homeschooled and get out about 3 times a month :/

me too. when I do get to talk in a group of people I feel like a background friend, I just kinda sit there and am quiet. i so feel u on the there is always somebody more interesting thing too tho xd i also kinda group hop talking to different people it just sucks because none of them are like real friends, just people you say hi to
