"We're safe now. Come on." He carefully stepped and watched the floor. "No more traps, please, no more traps."

After the first trap, there didn't seem to be any more, it was all smooth sailing. Figuratively of course.
Until a trap door opened up beneath Victoria and dumped her into an underwater river which did not offer smooth sailing at all. Victoria panics when she hits the water, trying paddle against the current to stay where she might be able to get out. The opening was at least a foot above her head. She couldn't reach it in her current form, and with all her panicking, she wouldn't be able to change back into her human form.

"Victoria, calm down. I need you to try to calm down enough so I can grab you." He stuck both of his arms down the hole and tried to grab Victoria out of the water.

Victoria pants as she begins to wear out, the river splashing her face and threatening to tug her under. By this point she was taking in more water than air. Coughing and spluttering, she shakes her head to try and calm down. You manage to grab her scruff, but her fur is sleek when wet, and you can't maintain a good grip for long.

He tried to pull her off. "Come on... come on... we promised Nikkie we would be there."

You succeed in pulling her out. She flops on the ground next to you, coughing as she tries to get the water from her lungs. Her ears were back and her tail was between her legs. The pink fox felt humiliated.
"I dropped everything. Down there. It's all gone now." Victoria mumbles, rising to trembling paws after she had coughed up a lungfull of water.
in front of you is now a door. It has a handle.

"It's okay. It wasn't your fault. Come on, maybe we can be safer in here." He turned the knob on the door and closed his eyes.

Victoria sticks to your side, heading inside. Inside is a throne room.
"Yes, we have arrived." Victoria sighs with relief, padding forward. A green ball of light is waiting for you.
"Come in, come in. I have heard you wanted to defeat me." The green ball laughs. "As if you could defeat me. Especially since I have Nikkie in custody. Say hi, Nikkie." The kitsune was bound and gagged at the foot of the throne, blood trickling down the side of his face. Nikkie looks away from you and Victoria, looking guilty.

"I knew we could've been heard." He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Okay, well, let Nikkie go. Please. Anyway, you must be Oran. The ruler of the labyrinth."

"Someone has been talking about me, I see. Also, no. I'm not letting Nikkie go again. He is mine and I will use him however I want to. Right now I am showing you that you have no hope in defeating me or my Labyrinth. Nikkie failed." Oran says cheerfully.
Victoria growls, her fur rising, "Even when things look hopeless, you can still have hope." Oran ignores her.
