Destiny patted Whiteout and smoothed out his fur, then stuffing the egg deeper into the flood in case Res saw it. For some reason, Destiny wasn't sure if she wanted the girl to know about the egg. "Mission? Outer rings? Are you part of a special group that keeps peace or something? Oh, also, I think I met one of those monsters you mentioned. Lots of arms? One giant eye? Mouth where the navel is? If so, I'll let you know they're allergic to cucumbers."

"The cities on tbe outer side of the island. At least fourteen separate cities, each in a different biome. One is a military base out at sea, the other is literally a whole island." She sounded more human now
