you cannot see them from the ground, but the adult male has his hackles raised so they must be getting closer.

you find a large piece of bark.
i look for a curved piece of wood that can hold liquid and then check my snares

as your watching you see another pack show up on the horizen, they are clearly from different packs. The pack you were watching rise up and the two packs fighting. the old pack is not strong enough and the new pack soon kills almost all of them. You see the pups from the old pack run off into the woods.

She went after the cubs, running around them desperately

Tie a vine quickly around the spear and make sure it is secure so that if I throw it I can pull it back quickly.
