"To be fair hes pretty nice, doesnt mind lending a hand or helping out-theres a reason he got elected as his class president after all-but sometimes? Hes a bit too curious about things. Youd think hed have learned from the last incident he got hismelf into but nope."
You notice that the hangouts ending, as some girls are leaving. "I should probably go, im helping with dinenr tonight. Cool meeting you, Leah." Kari says, heaidng out.

Its surprisingly close to dinenrtime. A lot of the other folk on your street are also heading back, although at one house instea dof people entering you see a very blond dude running out and fialing at putting on a jacket. He breezes ri GJ t past you, barely missing hitting you and yeling back a "sorry!". He soon disappears though.
Your parents' car is in tbe driveway so theyre definitley home and pribably have dinenr too.
