"Ooo! Perhaps there's a fire! Let's go left!"

There was fire, sure, but there was also a lake of lava. And in the lava resided the lava monsters. At first, it wasn't all that apparent that monsters lived in the lava, but a few blinking eyes and toothy smiles later, it became clear that there were.
Riley didn't look too excited with the heat and/or lava monsters.
"Come, join us!" The lava monsters crow, rising from the lava.

The monster roars, granting your wish. When it gets fire in it, it coughs and pauses attacking you as it claws at its throat. A few minutes later, the beast keeled over.
Sophia released a breath in relief. "Let's get away from this monster." She suggests, moving around the body of the beast.

(No, but she did say that she would wait for him to come back.)

"Annnd that was likely our only way out. Well, guess we can wander the labyrinth until we find another exit. Which probably won't happen." She shrugged before walking down the hot path.

Ayden jumps when he hears the voices, and he heads closer to your side.

"If we join you, we die. That is lava. Sorry." She tried to move around the lake.

Ayden sticks to your side, following the sound of your voice and footfalls.
"Come!" The lava monsters urge, reaching out to pull you in. Their fingers dripped with lava. A piece of lava hit Ayden's arm, and the phoenix pulls away, panicking and backing up until he hit the wall, flapping his arms to get the blog of lava off.

"And you're hit with lava now. Great. This is going to severely burn me." She tried to wipe the lava off while warding off the lava monsters with her ice breath.

Innocencio nods. "Agreed......" He made note of how they defeated that one and quickly moved past it while awkwardly trying to snuff out some of the excess smoke form his hands.

You succeed in getting the lava off Ayden's arm. He covers before you, looking like he was expecting you to tell at him.
The lava monsters surge back and away from the ice, hissing when it hits them and freezes them slightly. "Not nice. Don't come. Leave." The monsters hiss, shooing you to the exit on which you didn't enter from.
