Nick wasn't sure how he felt about everyone being so formal here, but he just shrugged it off, figuring that he would have to get used to it

A low, demanding voice states, "At ease." Caspian quickly stands upright, nudging Nick as he walks forward. He kneels, kissing his mother's hand before bowing to his father.

Nick just stands, staying where he was. He then figured that he better do what Caspian did, so he copied his actions, kissing the queen's hand and bowing before the King.

Nick backed away. "Yes, sir. Sorry sir." He realized that he had done something wrong and he felt bad. He stared down at the floor, biting his lip. He hadn't meant to do anything wrong, but apparently, he did. Oops...

They nod, chuckling. The king waves his hand, telling him to relax. Caspian quickly brings him to his side, hugging him gently. "It's alright... If you're new you don't go near them, you kneel here and bow your head until they accept your presence." He explains.
