This would have been fine, however, the Empress was considerably faster than the both of them. She knew the best and easiest path to get to the boar, and she began traversing along that very path with ease.

(ty
Brain.exe still booting up)
Giselle
Giselle picked up the pace with a pat on the horse's side.
'Lionel'
Lowell had a much harder time getting his horse to respond appropriately, clutching tightly onto the reins as it whinnied and shot off in a strong gallop.

She soon approached the edge of the territory of the boar, only spotting a single set of horse prints(?). She doubted that whoever's horse prints they were that they had the skill to take down the animal. Alone, at least. Doing it alone is a surefire way to die.

(for the average man, perhaps)
Giselle
Giselle managed to slow her horse to a slow trot as she looked over the hoof prints and took out her bow.
'Lionel'
Lowell managed to get his horse to stop before the two, only managing to get thrown off.
He stayed on the ground for a moment before picking himself up and dusting off.
As he went back to pull himself on the horse, it trotted away from him and he sighed, opting to leave it to graze before it just got in his way.

(perheps)
Seraphina paused, examining the prints more closely. Upon further recognition, there was more than one set of prints, but whoever came through here made quite an effort to hide them from the untrained eye. She summoned(yes summoned, I've decided all her weapons are magical and can be hid on person) her own bow, prepared to shoot at anything that came towards them. Whether it was a boar or not.

i'm for magically summoning enchanted weapons)
'Lionell'
Lowell kept his ears at the alert, waiting and watching.
Giselle
"I hear something rustling.." She said as she steadied her horse, keeping her bow at the ready.
'Lionel'
"Very much so, my lady. Best we keep quiet as not to scare it."

(always and forever)
The bushes rustled, and a doe stepped out, staring straight at the group of people.
The Empress turned away from it, then looking deeper into the forest where a loud roar sounded.

'Lionel'
Lowell resisted the rising urge to return one of his own, but the suddenness of it did break his composure for a moment.
"What was that?"
Giselle
"Kinda.. sounded like a mountain lion to me, Duke."
She pushed forward, going to check it out for herself.
