" ...I don't think thats a mountain lion. " The Empress said. She began following the Marchioness, while checking her surroundings for anything boar related or suspicious.

Giselle
"Well, I've never known a pig, boar or not, to roar like that.."

She looked around the woods, cautiously, trying to calm her nervous horse.

'Lionel'
He couldn't help but wonder. Whatever it was, he wasn't sure if it sounded like anything that belonged in this forest. Paranoia was getting to him.
He redirected his focus back on the Empress.

" Did I not tell you? Its a giant boar. I could've sworn i mentioned this. " She said, but her voice was hushed, careful not to alarm anything around them.

" Since a giant one appeared on the hunting grounds with a golden tail 50 years ago. " She retorted.

'Lionel'
Lowell was fighting back a laugh at this point at Giselle's dumbfounded expression, peering over the shrubs.
Sure enough, there it was. Golden tail and all.

Giselle
Giselle readied her arrows, aiming for a shot as she got sight of it.

The Empress readied her bow, eyes narrowed.

However, the boar sensed them and turned towards it. Unlike its attractive golden tail, the rest of it was black. Accompanied with long tusks and a face strewn with the wounds from the weapons of fallen warriors. A clear sign of its strength. It let out a death-defying roar, seemingly shaking both the ground and trees around them.

'Lionell'

Lowell kept his ground a distance away. While he felt the urge rising up to attack the beast, he kept himself focused on their surroundings.
No doubt the boar would draw attention. It was what he was counting on.

Giselle
Giselle blinked a bit before taking a shot at its skull. She.. She wasn't kidding.
This thing looked like a monster.. And she'd definitely seen a few already.

The Empress had no hesitation to fire her own arrows. But rather than attacking the skull, she went for its support pillars. Its legs. Her arrows were a special type of arrow. Once inside the skin, spines splay out from the tip, hooking them inside and injecting a certain type of poison that caused numbness.

The Marchioness' arrow seemingly bounced off, and the boar rushed towards the group, clearly angry.

The Empress swiftly moved out of the way, careful to be mindful of her position.

Lowell
Lowell stepped out of the way, growling lowly and unconsciously at the threat of the boar. The illusion magic didn't hold up much longer with his rising tension, his hand clutching the hilt of a steel sword, sheathed on his hip.

Giselle
The dissipating illusion magic worried Giselle more than the boar as she sidestepped it, but it was too late to try and calm him down now. She threw the bow aside and drew her rapier which rippled at the tip with swirling wind magic as she tried not to get too hard into the Empress' way.
"Alright, porky. Shall we have this dance then?"
