WOAH!

Were the controls on the game tight, or soft? Like, Luigi turned easily, or he turned slowly and awkwardly?
On 3DS I find them kinda soft compared to Dark Moon (second game)
WAIT oh gosh why am I going on about this
There are better things to talk about with you...
I gotta ask, is a horseshoe crab actually a crab... or is it like some kind of stingray... what is a horseshoe crab?

I don't remember too clearly, it was a couple years ago... I don't remember having any issues with the controls though.
Horseshoe crabs are neither crabs nor stingrays. They are in thier own classification, but they're most closely related to spiders and scorpuons because they breath via book gills and have many eyes (8-12, to be exact).

Horseshoe crabs...
Hmm...
But like...
Okay, being closer related to spiders, does that make them closer to crabs than stingrays? ',:/ Not that it matters, just...
*sigh*
WHO NAMED...
uh...
Whatever, okay another question: is it possible to be bitten by one, and if so, does it hurt?

Horseshoe crabs have almost nothing in common with stingrays. But to answer your question, yes.
European explorers named them that because they move like crabs and look like horseshoes.
Okay.... uh, not really. Their mouths are underneath their shells, in between all their legs, so you'd have to be trying to get 'bitten'. Even then, I work with these things every friday and their mouths are too small to even fit my pinky finger in.
But here's what the mouths look like if you're interested.
The little bristles you see are used to shred up their food. They're scavengers so they'll usually eat whatever scraps they can find.

Cool ;w;
It's like a spider from a different period in history... like those giant bugs that used to be everywhere forever and a half ago 0-o
Are their organs in that area sorta behind their legs?

Some people think they predate dinosaurs, but but evolution doesn't make much sense to me so I'm not buying it, heh. But giant isopods are still a thing!
Yes. Their brian is right above their stomach, interestingly enough.
I have work today actually.... :3

Some lunatic punched a fishtank and broke it while I was as work today and I'm just trying to recover from the shock.
