I don't know much about streaming, but in regards to swatting I think one of the shots actually does mention swatting, with the implication that they might do it. it's one of the shots under "In addition to their motives regarding just the game's economy, that is not all that they talk about. Here are two examples of them talking about specific people - myself included"

Re: venting, the angry folk should make a vent Tumblr like for every other site. That way posts can be anonymous and clique behaviour is limited.

I have to express my concern over the screenshots provided. If this was a private discord server, as it is implied, then why is it fair to have screenshots putting their info out for everyone to see? Not to mention, encouraging people to go into private spaces, take screenshots, and then tell everyone about it isn't exactly something i can condone. Its tantamount to having someone take your diary and read it in front of a class of people.

I would also like to question the validity of the screen shots. From what i am able to tell, someone DM'd krin with a bunch of cherry picked screenshots from a private server. How can we know that their intentions are good? How can we know that they are not just taking things out of context to get someone they are mad at in trouble?

Would put a stop to banning for crude jokes made offsite that's for sure. It's too bad this happened in a private server with a bunch of information not meant to be obtained by anyone not in the server.

I would really like to hear Krins response to my above comment. It is very concerning the boundaries he is willing to cross for the information he has garnered. I would also like to know how he vets his sources and what he does to ensure that nobody is being unfairly represented, or punished.

He is doing that, correct?

I would like to make a public statement on the matter of these images being cropped.

I cannot speak for all of them, but I am familiar with one in particular, and I am grateful that Krin cropped the screenshot as he did. I realize that people may be wondering "What was left out? :|c " and find it suspicious. So I, of my own volition, am going to reveal the reason for one of them.

What followed after I was mentioned among players with stats projects who may be negatively impacted if they destroyed the economy, was a player quite literally saying: Xav also told me 30 dollars for commissions was too expensive so **** em.

That player was an artist who, at first, was accepting gold for commissions. I set up a commission request during this time because I happened to have enough gold for it. Out of the blue, I was informed that they would only accept USD moving forward, and they wanted $30 bucks.

Regardless of my status on this site, I am not wealthy by any means. I've made my projects here through hard work and dedication to acquiring gold and purchasing diamonds from the currency exchange, as well as the support of friends, and lucrative trades with other players. Very rarely, perhaps as a special birthday or Christmas gift to myself, have I been able to afford diamonds, and that was in the past. Now that I have a child, any time I have money to spare I spend it on her.

Naturally, this means that I wasn't able to suddenly shell out $30 for art. I explained this to that player, literally saying I could not afford it, and I had assumed that it was fine, no big deal.

At some point I was shown this same conversation with the screenshot in full. A concerned friend wanted to know what was up with the situation. I will not lie and say that it wasn't painful to see. It did hurt, especially seeing some of my friends in the mix.

I am grateful that Krinadon cropped the screenshot as he did, and I suspect that this image isn't the only one that was cropped in order to spare someone's feelings as this group of people insulted them. Most people do not know the insults and hatred that were spewed within this group. Had I not known beforehand, had Krin left that part in and unintentionally revealed it to me now, it would have hurt. The only thing I did to this player, EVER, was be too poor to suddenly give them 30 bucks for an art request.


Keep that in mind if you're wondering why the screenshots are cropped. There may have been more insults, more snide remarks, more unwarranted hatred that Krinadon is cutting out of the screenshots to spare other players' feelings.


So, big reveal, everyone. Xavion is actually poor. Now you all know.

I'm just gonna say it, I'm a little baffled that the response to people being unhappy about screenshots being shared is to share more screenshots, but that aside.... I'm not entirely sure what point you're trying to make here? Yet again, nothing said has negated the fact that this is all a huge breach of these people's privacy. It would be a lie for any one of us to say we've never had a bad day or interaction and said "screw that guy" or some iteration. And if this in fact is from a vent/rant channel (as stated by a user who was in it), that's exactly the place for those comments so that they don't reach the people they're about or hurt feelings, cause harm, etc etc

If anything, the person who hurt you (not to mention everyone else is this scenario) is the person or people who felt it necessary to betray this group's trust and share their personal comments and grievances with outside people.

I have to wonder, do those who condemn the people of this discord server never have a negative thought ever? Have you never thought in your head "Man, screw that guy who was rude to me!" when something happens?

I'm not a religious person at all, but this seems like a very "Let he who is free of sin throw the first stone" sort of situation.

Just because someone voiced a single negative opinion in a private place does not mean they deserve to be bullied, or put on display like this. If every singe private action, thought, or thing you said in the privacy of your own brain were aired, would that be fair at all? Invading someones privacy is far from fair.

What was said in these discords was private, and by taking screenshots and spreading them using his power as a moderator, Krin demonstrates a lack of restraint, and is clearly abusing the power given to him as the owner of the site.
