ok; so my main ingredients were andouille sausage, jasmine rice, bell peppers and my extra ingredient was flour.

I made cajun/creole jambalaya rice in the crockpot for dinner with a side of drop biscuits basted with garlic butter

Cooking Instructions:

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. put in a 1/8 stick of butter and then the sliced up andouille sausage, and all of your powder seasonings and then saut for 3-5 minutes, stirring continuously. Add in finely chopped bell peppers, celery, and onions and stir them to combine. Continue sauting for 5-6 more minutes, or until the onion is soft and translucent, stirring occasionally. Stir in the garlic, and saut for 1 more minute until the garlic is fragrant, stirring occasionally.

while you are cooking your sausage and veggies begin heating your crockpot on high heat. pour in 3 cups of chicken stock and 3 cups of vegetable stock into the crockpot. then add in 2 cans of diced tomatoes tomatoes, Cajun seasoning, fresh thyme sprig, cilantro sprig, sage leaves into the liquid mixture and let simmer for 5 minutes.

in the oven while your liquid is simmering and your sausage is sauted with the veggies; put 3 cups of rinsed rice in a glass dish and bake on 300F for 5 minutes

Pour all of your toasted rice, and sausage and veggie sauted mixture into your crockpot liquid and seasoning and cover and cook on high for 2 hours. once your rice becomes soft your meal is ready

it was so delicious and I have leftovers! I did a mixture of both creole and cajun seasonings into it because i literally couldn't decide between the 2 in different recipes
