Also, in regards to Nebula Mane, we are considering having the white part replaced with Mutation Color 2. We're also looking into some touching up on Fire Mane - it kinda lost some of its soft edges during some of the edits we did. And as stated earlier, we will also look at the wing mutations.

I actually prefer the old art, but I can deal with this.

Dislikes:

The males definately look better than the females. There is just something off about the females. The front right leg (the folded one) looks a bit inproportionate near the knee and the front left shoulder looks too bulky.

Not a fan of some of the revamped genes though, such as G1: Reindeer. Also, Iridescent Scales needs more shading or something. It just looks like its laying over the qitari's body instead of being part of it.

Also, the shading looks a bit rough on the males, especially around the stomach area.



Likes:

Wings and manes look much better.

Leaf Veins looks nicer now that it blends into the face.

Loving the Demon Wings now.


Oh, and she looks even cooler now.

Ugh! these redraws are awful. The Older Art was more solid.

* The baby qitari do not even look like ponies, they look like a cross between a donkey and a Shellfish.
* The tails are feather dusters.
* The Male design is better than the female but the scales on the backs of both are out of sinc with the rest of the body. It looks like its been roughly cut using the crude paint tool.
*The female looks like shes doing a bunny hop instead of a rear.
*The ears are more like bunny ears, than horse ears.
*The Western saddle Mutation has no visible Horn on the Pommel, Making it look like a larger English saddle, complete with English stirrups. Western stirrups are chunkier.
* Dragon whiskers are too long they look like they could wrap around their legs tripping them.
* Gnarled Horn looks like a split tree sapling stuck to the mane.
* Satyr Horns look over sized below the ear and the jawline spikes looks like they are choking the qitari
* Nebula Mane does not even look attached to qitari
* Elaborate horns make the head look too crowded the horns dominate the head instead of blend. giving a head on horns look rather than horns on head look.
* Demon Wings look well But the Shoulder limb looks slightly off, not looking quite attached.

redeeming features (though marginal)
* The rainbow mane gene's colors mix better
* The new racoon Mane looks well
* Iridescent scales look nice enough.
* Unicorn Horn looks more Enchanting
* Fire mane looks better.
* Icicle mane is better defined
* Whiskered Dragon Mane tail looks nice
* Pegasus wings look more refined
* Stardust Wings look fancier and color blend well
* Butterfly Wings Blend Well to the rest of the body

I have to agree with you, Jhennya. One of my favorite traits was Icicle Mane. And my 2 Vis Horseman Qitari was breathtaking.



I really like the changes, as a whole. But the color swap bummed me out a little (nothing to do about that, I know) but the Icicle Mane!! My Horseman Qitari was sooo beautiful. And now I am sad. I much prefer the bigger shards of ice. Jhennya, I think you hit the nail on the head with the angry hedgehog spikes..

I know not everyone can be pleased. For example, so far I'm not a fan of the Iridescent Scales but I've heard several people loving it. And I am sure there are a few that prefer this Icicle Mane but.. this mane just looks so rough.

Holy mother of poo they look so amazing I was seriously worried for a while! *Cuddles my blood sweat and tears* You beautiful finished projects you!

Holy cow, this guy ended up so gorgeous :O I love this new design!


Also, I may be weird, but I like how the wings lay. They look so pretty and this 6 vis. girl I bought before the redesign (specifically to wait for the redesign, lol) I like how they morph from the scales there, and what you can see of her saddle still looks nice.

Iridescent scales and fire mane all the way!
