Sadly I wanted to upload the day I took them all in hopes to be one of the first ones, but work got in the way :( Aw well, at least I think I get a new title: Nature Walker! :D

1. Find something that is red.
-My cat's old litter box that my mom now uses to transplant soil and carry weeds in when tending to the garden :)


2. Find a yellow flower.
-These lovely daffodils grow every year :) Unfortunately because of how cold its been only this small patch grew and it doesn't look like they'll live long X_x


3. Find an animal nest (so a bird nest or squirrel nest etc).
-This bird's nest has been here for many, many years and the same linage of birds comes back every spring to patch it up and use it =3


4. Find an ant hill.
-It's kinda hard to see but I tried to make sure the ant hill was centered in the photo ^^;


5. Find something hairy.
-I have no idea what that was, but it's hairy! xD


6. Find something that is translucent.
-Water is translucent right? |D


7. Find a flowering tree.
-Again because of how cold its been trees aren't budding too much, but I managed to find this tree blooming a bit :)


8. Find a plant starting to grow.
-A little fuzzy weed >3< Again I tried to center it against my name tag


9. Find a mammal.
-My beautiful kitty who joined me outside for the scavenger hunt :D


10. Find something bumpy.
-Tree logs x3


11. Find something smooth.
-A plank of wood I found behind my shed

-The cover on my picnic table >3<

-Okay, NO bird would allow me to get close enough to it to get a pic with my nametag in the same frame so I had to take one from my window. It's a robin.

-My neighbors aren't so conciouness about the environment so I find stuff in the ditches all the time.

-I was SOOOO worried I wouldn't find any tracks because its been so dry but I thought MAYBE I'd find a raccoon or dog track on the side of the road. BUT BEHOLD! 8D HOOFPRINTS! Someone must have just gone by on a horse. (And you could smell it too xD)


20. Find an insect (don't kill it :) ).
-Had to dig through piles of wet leaves to find that little guy =3

I had a lot of fun with this, it was a good excuse to walk around my neighborhood :D I found my items over the course of 2 days so I have two different papers with my name on it. I realized it was hard to read my first tag so I changed it for day 2 XD

1. Find something that is red. - This was seriously the only red thing I could find by my house, no red leaves, no red flowers, just this or a stop sign...


2. Find a yellow flower. - Technically a weed, but it's a weed with a flower XD


3. Find an animal nest (so a bird nest or squirrel nest etc). - So I couldn't find any bird nests that I could get a decent picture of, so instead I found a Mole's burrow which is kind of a nest :D


4. Find an ant hill. - Not hard to do, there are like 800 in my backyard...


5. Find something hairy. - This was probably the grossest thing I found


6. Find something that is translucent. - Yeah I found a lot of trash on my walk sadly


7. Find a flowering tree. - It might be hard to tell but I believe this is a lilac bush :)


8. Find a plant starting to grow. - The Day Lilies in my front yard :D


9. Find a mammal. - My cat enjoyed this, he loves the outdoors XD However let me just say he is one of the least photogenic cats I've ever had, he would not look at the camera no matter what I did XD


10. Find something bumpy. - Some plants that have grown over a stone wall, very neat to look at :D


11. Find something smooth. - The axle of the trailer in my backyard, nice and smooth, except for the few spots of rust XD

Silly clouds messing with my camera settings :/ I wanted to use my macro and telephoto lenses but the whole paper thing axed that idea XD. Sooo no nice close ups of birds or bugs (except a massively cropped bee photo) And excuse the extremely over exposed 3X5 with my user on it. I was more focused on making sure the actual subject matter was properly exposed, rather than a white card XD.
