One of my favorite butterflies, though a lot of people see them as pests, I saw my first one the other day and decided to use it as inspiration. The first butterflies to me always mean spring is finally here. Of course, with spring comes allergies, so this guy is surrounded by 'pollen' due to the flowers it lands on.

My dream Aeridini was inspired by the Blue Tiger Lily flower, which I tried to portray as much as possible within this design :)

Inspired by where we had Spring picnics as a child. (Though I didn't take the picture myself...) Our bluebell picnics are always the first thing I think of when I picture Spring especially as bluebells are one of the first flowers to come up where we are.

My entry is based off of a Blue Morpho Butterfly. A really pretty butterfly sitting on a nice blooming flower is the perfect sign that Spring has finally sprung.

I call this design "Sarielle's Blessing". It is inspired by the lush greens growing and blooming plants; in this case, the greenery that I always imagine must be surrounding the Sanctuary of Sarielle.
