Well, SpaceElf. Personally...I like the Underbelly Fade better on the female design, but the Water Sprite better on the males. Underbelly Fade on the females makes the Mystic Head Fins bottom color line blend better into the pale blue. But as you'll notice, the Underbelly Fade on the males doesn't quite reach the Mystic Head Fins. Thusly, I like the dark mask kind of effect on the boys better. Plus, the Henna pattern is also more visible between the eyes with the Water Sprite.

I has opinions, yus I do! But, it's all up to Celuwen of course! It's a lovely project and has all of my support. ^.^

I can understand not liking wings on Sylvorpas. I think I have a niche appreciation. :)

I actually really like the change you've suggested. The facial line up of the Henna with the Water Sprite is remarkably perfect. This is weird addition, but I wish the webbing between the toes could be altered in WS to give an extra highlight. Plus with the WS, do you think the eyes might warrant a colour change? I was going for a simplicity of colour to counter-balance the grandness of the genes/mutes.

Then I thought about losing the Henna and going just with the Iridescence. Yet this loses the symmetry I loved about the WS over the UF:

So maybe the Iridescence and the UF:

Changing the Eye Colour:

See adding a third colour just makes it all too big and cluttered:

My two favourites are the change you (SpaceElf) suggested and the change to Iridescence. I've stumbled into the place where everything is looking weird now.

Frawn, you make good points about the male verses female look. I think it's harder to get away with the magnitude of the design on a male anyway due to the positioning. There's a lot less black surface area (which in my mind helps to carry the big gene/mutes)

I don't think the Iridescence works as well, for example:

The male version always works best without the WW (*pout*):

Oh wait, the female version(s) does too:

I might need to think about this for a bit. :D

Thanks for the utter indulgence, you guys. I'm going to poke about a bit with the generator.

Pinging all!

I'm getting rid of a few of my original Sunsong Gazanias. I think I've picked my project with that theme, and some of these aren't going to see any/further action. Please send me private messages expressing your interest and/or making an offer! First come, first served. ^.^

Normally, I like Iridescence much better than I like Henna, but not in this case. The Henna's delicacy contrasts nicely with the firm, shallow curves of the fins and the wings. Going with aqua eyes might be the best bet.

Or maybe play around with giving the eyes a different shade of aqua/blue? Here's four I came up with, just messing about on the Generator--

Thank you for the invite to this group! I really do love vorpas! I just got done hatching a huge batch of my vorpa project babies, and I hopeful the project will be bearing fruit soon, in a month or so. It was one of the first projects I started here when I joined:

Welcome MythraRed! I think your Mystical Rebirth project looks just SPIFFY! I'm a fan of the Luminous Gecko trait, and the blues and black are lovely together. ^.^

Thank you so much! I can't wait for them to be done. They will only be a 4 vis project, but I am not sure what else I could have added.

I think too many players are panting after "I bred a Six-Vis!" and too few stop to think about whether this trait/color combination actually looks good. So many six-vis pets, IMO, look cluttered.

BTW, a few people were kind enough to say they liked my Mantis Shrimp design better than the Theme that was actually picked (no offense intended to the designer of that Theme). I actually did several versions of it. Here are the 4 versions, with the traits I think look best. Opinions?

Second
