My Onomatopoeia Poem:
John's War
(A Sherlock Poem based off of Doctor Watson's time in Afghanistan)
By: NafariaAndulin
Bang! Boom! Crash! Thoom!
A bullet grazed John's leg
Blam! Brash! Boom! Crash!
In the air it snowed black ash
Ding, Dong, a-Ring, Dinging!
The young captain's ears were ringing
Crank! Crash! Bang! Rattle!
He loved the war and he loved the battle
Rattattatt! Rattattatt!
Bullets flew this way and that
A yell, a holler, a warning, a shout
That's all John remembered before blacking out.

A Sonnet About Being Sick:
I hate being sick -sneeze-
I lay around all day
Being sick is the worst -wheeze-
That is what I have to say
I can watch television
But maybe I don't want to
I am plagued by indescision
I don't know what to do
I feel like garbage
And also trash
Imagine this image
A very bad rash
And yet I smirk
Because mom wants be to do work

Whew! Finally got around to this! And wrote it. Not my original idea, but I still like it *smiles proudly*
Free Verse
"A Poem About a Man who was Exiled from his home for Not Paying Taxes, or so they say."
You love it you toss it,
A thousand-dollar locket,
Attached to an arm you wrenched out of its socket,
Eat alien chocolates
You load it and cock it
Youre just a child sitting locked in a closet
You can stand in a dense crowd and be alone
You want to start over and leave your past unknown
You can watch your friends die
Where there are stars in the sky
Dont cry; dont cry
Youre as free as a bird who cant fly
Cold looks from strangers that hate you
As they try to relate you
To the ones who took their freedom and you feel its your fate to
Let computers create you
Let addictions sedate you
Turn it up another notch, its just a door to escape through
You can talk for hours and say no words
You can listen to things that should not be heard
Spend the rest of the day
Locking yourself away
Dont save--the day,
Only as good as the words that you say
