Spring Waters Kelpari Inspiration is the waters of a pond with water lilies

I think of flowers and bright colors when I think of spring, so I tried to imagine how a Nephini would look under that motif.

Tranquil Rain

Spring makes me think of the cloudless days where the leaves are bright green, the flowers are in full bloom, and the delicate petals that rain down as spring comes to an end!

(Not sure if I was supposed to ping, I don't normally participate in contests. O.o)

What my inspiration for my design was: When I was thinking of what to make for my design I remembered that spring is a symbol of rebirth, which is where all the blooming flowers on my design came from. I chose the Morkko because the bear symbolizes the womb of mother earth and nurturing, then I thought of what could be the best pattern on this Morkko, LEAFS! I wanted the leafs to be on the legs, so I searched to find a pattern similar to leafs that would go on the legs. After what I thought I was finished I only had 2 visible, and then I got thinking because Spring had just been blooming what was there before it? Winter of course! The broken shackles on the Morkko represent Spring breaking out of its prison and retaking the world from Winter.

When I think of Spring, I think of butterflies, flowers, and pastels. Greens and pinks for the flowers, blue for the sky, the bit of yellow for the sun, and pretty wings like butterflies have. :)

My inspiration was the spring thunderstorms that always happen where I live around this time of year. :)
