You pick up Thornkit who squirms. He opened his mouth to complain but nothing came out, so he drooped in disappointment. As you pad through the lake-forest border, you see a tail disappear under a bush but above a tree branch rustles

I try to find a small but safe place to put Thornkit / once I do I try to see who is around

You place Thornkit down and scent the air, however you are upwind and can't smell anything, nothing is moving now.

You find a stray leaf near the bush, but it could have fallen off the tree.

You continue along the path with Thornkit, ignoring the tree (where you would've found a squirrel) and the bush (where there was a cat) and look around, however you can't see any caves. Thornkit get's distracted and leaps after the moth, tumbling into a bush. Do you want to wait or follow after him?

You follow Thornkit and see a waterfall running into the lake, he skidding to halt in front of it and nosed some plants growing beside it, you could tell they were herbs but you weren't sure which ones, due to not having any healing levels.
