Overall, I love these so far. I love fluffy things, and these strike a great cross between wolves and hyenas, which is what I was hoping for. On that note, I don't want to see these become too wolf-like, and I say that as someone whose favorite animal is the Gray Wolf. Keep the powerful, stockier chest with the slimmer hind legs; it really gives me that hyena type feels, which is what the mane along the back reminds me of. Likewise with the ear length. That said, I agree the legs feel a bit short. The issue with the tails over the body can be easily fixed just by a slight alteration to the tail position, in my opinion. Also, while I love the male hatchling's position, something about the angle of the hindquarters feels off to me, but I don't know what. My only other critique/wish is for a slightly heavier muzzle/jaw to further differentiate the more hybrid hyena/wolf Lups from the canine Puff and the vulpine Nixi. Even so, I still really like these. Great job so far, and can't wait to see the final design!

So much fluff! So cute!
The only edit I can see is maybe giving the male adult a slightly more dominant pose? His current pose almost makes him look like he's scared or submissive, not exactly a great look for an alpha male. Even if you could just tilt his head up to the same level as the female, then he would at least look confident!

This has probably already been said, but I think the female hatchling's ears are a little on the big and floppy side? Not sure if this is intended.

Oh my gosh those are so cute.
I looked at them, and there is a patch of fur with a upside down V shape with a diamond in the middle. Maybe it could be some crown of some sort, just a idea
I love how light they look from the thin legs! So much, not to be rude, but I went from "Meh" to "oh my gosh I love luporas"

I get what you're saying, but this is a pet peeve of mine so apologize if this is annoying--but there's no such thing as alpha wolves, the myth was based on faulty research!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpha_(ethology)
So to describe it as not being "alpha" is, is a smidge inaccurate. :p I see what you're saying about not being super confident... though I'm not sure how I'd personally go about fixing it without entirely redoing one of the genders? It makes them both look similar. I actually like the idea of him being more bent over, looks very wolfish, but it does look less confident. Maybe an expression change would help with this too? If changed so he's smirking, he'd look like a wry troublemaker!

Hatchlings are cute, but... I like the current female much much more. She has a really nice stance, longer legs and is not that... furry :(

I love them I really do but I'm gonna pick on a few things:
- The legs being too short and overall the anatomy is a bit iffy. The males head is too small too.
- The tails maybe covering up the genes. They look amazing! They really do, I just think they might block out the genes on their body. But the thickness is great it really highlights them living in colder climates, it also gives them this life they didn't really have before. Position them so they don't cover genes.
- The pups look a bit awkward (in my opinion).
Overall its great for a first sketch.

I feel like the old ones had more sass in their postures, the female especially. She looked ready to kick butt.
