This is the Frosted Icicle Griffi. My insparation for this Griffi was as the name said... Icicles! After a brutal snow storm the morning reveals beautiful iclicles hangning from your roof. The icicles cast starry, blue lights over the snowy landscape as the rays from the sun hit the icicles with pure light. That is my insparation for the Frosted Icicle Griffi!

My Griffi is based off of a warm burning fire.

I call it Crackling Fire Griffi.

This is my First Snowfall Griffi

In my opinion, one of the most magical times during the winter is when you first see snow fall, even if you've seen it a thousand times before, it never gets old. Where I live, at least, we get snow fairly frequently but everyone stops to watch the first snowfall of the year together. The first snow was during my math class this year and the teacher stopped teaching just to let us watch the snow fall and gather by the window. The people in my town just stop whatever they're doing and I think its pretty magical. Anyway, the colors in my design were inspired by this picture.

My Griffi is inspired by the White Tiger because they are my favorite animal. The Christmas theme is they blend in with the snow and you only get snow during Christmas. At least you only get snow during Christmas where I live.

I wanted a Griff who, as dictated by the blend of his species and his coloring is an automatic Slytherin-Gryffindor. Don't do pet cosplay very often, but given the contest limits, it seemed appropriate. Came out rather well, too, actually. I just wanted the leathery wings cuz they work better than most of the others with the line art, so blending a hippogriff with a dragon or wyvern pretty much did what i wanted.
