"Well, April, is it?" A gruff voice sounded from the shadows, and you knew the person was talking to you. As soon as he spoke, Diana got a bit spooked and returned to your side. "I'm the Lord, and you are in my kingdom. Do you have any questions for me?"
The bag is made of leather, and as you open it, something shiny catches your eye. You dig around in it and find five gold coins, ten silver coins, and a hundred copper coins. Art preens her feathers and flaps off your shoulders, flying to the door and then back to you. She seems to want you to open the door.
Gold? Silver? Copper? Why do I need money? She looks towards the door. Ill take thos bag with me, just in case. Phoenix says as she hangs the bag around her shoulders. Alright. Art? Lets go. Maybe something will happen. She goes up to the door and tries to turn the doorknob.

She opened her mouth, about to stutter out that she didn't understand. No sound came out, she began feeling the choking again in her throat. She closed her month and shook her head, hiding the lie by avoiding eye contact. She stared at Diana, wanting to step back. if she was afraid, April didn't know what to do.

The door was ancient, heavy, and cracked. The doorknob was nearly falling apart, and you couldn't open the door. Art screeched gently and flapped off, stopping to hover near the wall where a piece of stone jutted out. She then flew back and settled on your shoulder. The stone was about your eye level.

"Well, no questions, or just shy?" He said, stroking his chin. "Very well. Be off! Discover and learn what you need, and wait 'til the end." With that and a flick of his hand, you suddenly were standing in the middle of a very crowded square, with merchants yelling about their wares over each other's voices, as Diana lounged on top of your head.

Well, thats a letdown. She said, looking at the rusty doorknob and the ancient door. It wouldve been awesome if it had opened, but I shouldnt have gotten my hopes up. She said, wathching as Art fluttered to a stone and then back to her shoulder. A stone? Phoenix said, gripping and pulling on the stone.

April stepped back, terrified. She gulped, a single tear trickling down her cheek. She wiped it around quickly, staring around. She stammered to herself, "be calm" in a hoarse whisper as she stared around again

The stone stayed put, not coming out any more as you pulled on it. However, it did shake a bit in it's place. Art flew off your shoulder and settled on the small bed cot you were lying on earlier.

Right. That didnt work. Maybe I can shake it out, or push it out? Phoenix said, going kver to Art. Its hopeless. Theres no way to escape. Im gonna be stuck here forever. She said. Ill give it one last try. Phoenix walked over and pulled the stone, shaking it back and forth.

There were people everywhere, and the air of conversation hung over everyone and there was laughing and smiling. Merchants were selling food, metalwork, glasswork, books, pretty much anything anyone could imagine. Diana bounced up and down on your head as she spotted a trash can.
