I'll give this a shot even if I am sure I won't make it to 12. (Australia going into winter, yay!)

[ ] 1. Find some weeds

I HATE farmer's friends. Turns out it is also an introduced species. :(

[ ] 2. Find a rock with moss on it

[ ] 3. Find a fruit tree

This sad looking thing is an orange tree. Unfortunately we had to cut it down because it violates the new rules for pool regulations (can't have trees too close to the pool fence, in case kids will climb inside and drown). I am really glad it isn't dead, but looks like we won't be having oranges for a long, long while. :(

[ ] 4. Find wild growing berries

I think these are berries.

[ ] 5. Find shedded animmal hair/fur
[ ] 6. Find a flock of birds

Cockatoos at my pool.

[ ] 7. Find some litter and clean it up
[ ] 8. Find insect/spider eggs
[ ] 9. Find a sunset

[ ] 10. Find a sunrise

Closest I can get to a sunrise while still staying in my room.
[ ] 11. Find a flowering bush

[ ] 12. Find a flowering tree
A small tree, but it is still a tree.

[ ] 13. Find something with a shell

Banksias have seed pods!

[ ] 14. Find a baby mammal

In a pet shop aha.

Do human babies count?

[ ] 15. Find a bird that is red

Crimson rosellas are not very common here, so I'm surprised to see one on the day I start the hunt.
I got a picture of one, but you can't see the colour:

Proof that it is by me:

The circled area was where the bird used to be.

I think the bird is a crimson rosella purely because you see them more often, I don't tend to see eastern rosellas here. Either way, both species have some red in them.

The bird shape also fits the shape of rosellas, it has similar proportions and a long tail.
Picture of a crimson rosella:

Other parrots such as the sulphur-crested cockatoos do not have long tails, so I can safely say that is either a rosella or a king parrot, and both of them have red.

Further proof, birdcall:
https://sta.sh/01xyq9uc62vc
You can't tell the colour again from this, but at 7-8 seconds and 21-22 seconds, there is a faint bird call specific to rosellas. (Might need to increase the volume to 100% with headphones or louder speackers to hear it)

While it isn't the exact same bird call, and probably not the same bird species, there is an eastern rosella doing a similar-sounding chirp here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3Zy2_QBPmY

So I'm pretty sure the picture of the bird up there is a rosella.

[ ] 16. Find a yellow insect

[ ] 17. Find a fossil

[ ] 18. Find something thorny

Hard to see the thorns, but you can see the flower, and roses are spiky.

[ ] 19. Find something goopy
[ ] 20. Find something right outside your house that you find beautiful

The contest?

Yes. It won't end for another 4-6 weeks or so.

(I wrote the month, not the exact day, as I did not want to have to make a new paper everyday and waste paper. I did not ask before if it was fine, but it was fine last year so I guess it still is)

[x] 1. Find some weeds

[x] 2. Find a rock with moss on it

[x] 3. Find a fruit tree

A Plum tree.

[x] 4. Find wild growing berries

Holly berries.

[x] 5. Find shedded animal hair/fur

I found this on a path in the countryside, I believe it's some kind of animal fur/hair, probably wool.

[x] 6. Find a flock of birds

The small black dots in the sky are birds.

[x] 7. Find some litter and clean it up

[x] 8. Find insect/spider eggs

Tip: look under leaves! I thought this one would be difficult, but I found insect eggs on the second day on a plant at my grand-mother's house. I did not have to disturbs the eggs or the plant (though I can't promise my grand-mother will keep the eggs).

[x] 9. Find a sunset

[ ] 10. Find a sunrise

[x] 11. Find a flowering bush

[x] 12. Find a flowering tree

[x] 13. Find something with a shell

I replace the snails with a walnut in its shell.

[?] 14. Find a baby mammal

I tried to find other baby mammals were I live, but the other ones I found were either other goats or animals that were inside multiple enclosures and I could not take pictures of them. So I leave the baby goats, I would understand if that doesn't count considering I have used pictures of baby goats before :)

[x] 15. Find a bird that is red

A golden pheasant in a farm. I have seen a lot of people complaining about this one because they don't have wild red birds where they live, but nothing say the picture can't be taken in a farm or zoo, as long as it's outdoor.

[x] 16. Find a yellow insect

A bumblebee

[x] 17. Find a fossil

[x] 18. Find something thorny

[x] 19. Find something goopy

This swamp is quite goopy. When I approached it I saw frogs jumping in the water.

[x] 20. Find something right outside your house that you find beautiful

Fifteen meters away from my door is a horse-chesnut tree, I find its flowers beautiful.
