Such lucky eggling ^^i looked at the shop at 2:14 and saw one for 2,000+, went to buy it and gave me an error bc of the time. Then, out of nowhere, this egg pops right up after the other. So I guess it worked out lol.

well, the species has no effect on the trait count, only the price does, so what species they are isn't really relevant to what the Science here is on.

it's completely random what of the 12 possible species they are, it's just the sample size is very small (since we only need a small amount to say "this is the typical trait distribution of this price")
(also, the ones listed on the front page aren't the only 2400-2500 scale eggs present in the thread, I just typically stop adding new additions to the list after we get 3-4 for a price unless they're notable as a deviation)
