Good Morning one and all. I hope everyone is enjoying the challenges so far, as I know I sure am. This week's challenge is based on your favorite holiday. Whatever that maybe... However, there are a few stipulations with this one so please pay attention.
1.) Let us know which holiday you are representing.
2.) You can only use a total of 6 visible trait points. Allocated to whatever you chose.
3.) You must list out these said 6 trait points.
4.) Normally, I don't like limiting you all but this time. Only 5 entries per person.
5.) Make sure you PING me your entry, and let me know if you change anything or add more designs once the list of current entries goes up.
All reference pictures are definitely welcomed, and you may use as many colors as you want. Your example is listed below. ENJOY and Have FUN!
I'm wiccan so I'll briefly explain each of them so the designs make sense.
Beltaine Beltane is the time of the marriage and union of the Goddess as Mother Earth and the God of the Greenwood. It is an ancient fertility festival marking the beginning of the planting cycle. The festival was to ensure a good growing season and a bountiful harvest.
Samhain For many Wiccans, Samhain marks the New Year and is the most important Sabbat. Its the time to remember the ancestors, and the time to celebrate the harvest and all that has been accomplished over the year.
Traits:G2- Astral Wanderers Glyphs, G3- Magma Runes, M1 Ghostly Wraps
Vernal Equinox Winter is now over. Light is increasing. The day and night are equal in length at the equinox. Spring has arrived or is coming soon. Eostar is the time of fertility, birth, and renewal. The ice is thawing, and the growing season for plants and animals begins. Growth is the theme of the day.
Traits: M1- Fox Tail, M2- Petal Wings, M3- Enchanting Flowers
Yule Yule is the longest night and the shortest day of the year. Some Wiccans consider Yule to be either the years beginning or the end. This is the time to celebrate the return of the light. Yule is the solar turning of the tides, and the newborn Sun offers a fresh start and, literally, a new day. Its a time of renewal and hope.
Litha Litha is the longest day and the shortest night of the year. Light triumphs, but will now begin to fade into darkness as autumn approaches. The crops are planted and growing. The woods and forests have reached their peak fullness. This is the time of abundance for wildlife, including people! The holiday is joyous.
Mictecacihuatl
goddess of the dead. Said to have no flesh, a skull face and a serpent body. SHe and her husband are said to have collected the bones of the dead and looked after them and the three types of souls, those who died normally, those who died heroically and those who died non-heroically(cowards from what I can tell) Specifically Mictecacihuatl governs over the festivals of the dead as well as watching over the dead who are celebrated in those festivals
Drunk Bees
(considering that many leave offerings for their loved ones, most being things that were held dear, alcohol of all sorts is left out and the sweeter it smells the more bees will feast on whats left behind)
Note: I have a 6 vis version of this saved in my private designs so please do not take it unless you have a suggestion to make it better please
